After looking at HP's and Dells, this computer surfaced as the best bang for the buck. The 15.6 screen is packaged in a 14" size computer. The frame of this computer is aluminum and so it not only feels solid--it is solid.

Lenovo Yoga 730 was recommended by salesman as the right machine to take it's place. It did and didn't miss a beat. Great screen resolution, and packs plenty of punch for me. Seems solid and should be my new workhorse.

Lenovo - Yoga 730 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Iron Gray was the best available. They recovered my old files and placed them, my Microsoft Office and Trend Micro Security on Lenovo. A++

Great for Home Office and School

The keyboard is very smooth and the images/websites are very crisp and clear. I haven't tried tablet mode yet but will eventually. Love the backlights as well when needed. So far so good!

The new Windows is very different, takes time to locate stuff. My only problem is I was told it was a fast computer but it’s not. I would recommend to a friend who isn’t concerned with speed.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 730-15 ships with the Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i5-8250U processor, supported by 8GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. This is a fast system. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

So far it seems to be a winner and better than expected. The boot up time is super fast, and the overall operation is awesome so far. I may be sticking with this brand going forward as the bang for the buck is high

This system ships with a 3CELL 51.5WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, Be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. With regard to the edges on the Yoga 730-15, we will look into this for future improvements.

I did have to order a cover for it, didn't want to hurt it every time I flipped it back. The only problem I have, and this is just for me, is that I'm used to a Mac so going to Windows has been a challenge for me.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Great quality. The sales associate was very helpful and asked good questions to make sure I was getting the right computer for what I was going to use it for.

The only issue is that if you hook it up to dual desktop monitors it gets confused and the screens shift/jump around. You have to disable the gyroscope/touch screen feature, which is annoying. Other than that it is a nice laptop/tablet.

You are correct, if you are using an external monitor, you will want to turn off auto screen rotate to keep the screen from rotating if the laptop screen is moved. At least I know my kids can't get into it. This is the sceond Lenovo Yoga Laptop I have gotten. The first one I bought for my husband last year and I fell in love with it so I got one for me this year.

My dog got over excited an jumped on my last one it still works, Needed one I could travel with and when I walked in to Best Buy this one was on sale and perfect. The only thing I miss is the number keys on the side.

Looks like crappy engineering as each hinge is secured from 1 side only instead of two sides. Next time, i would happily bear the HP fan noise than this poorly constructed device. Strongly recommend not to buy.

Stable-ish with a beautiful screen

Like it won't hibernate properly for some reason. The SSD is fast, the fingerprint reader is nice, and the screen is bright at any angle. Haven't used it much as a tablet, but it's a nice function to have.
