I have to squeeze the top of the frame of the screen where the camera is to get it working again. Yes, you read that right. Google this problem - it's the only solution other than sending the laptop in for repair, which it should come as no surprise that this problem only occurred after the short warranty expired. The camera connections become disconnected internally and cause the issue, apparently. Bad quality in the camera build. -Had to send the laptop into Lenovo for repair for a broken microphone issue (during warranty); another common problem, like the camera issue. It was apparently another bad connection; poor internal build quality. -Some letters randomly do not work when pressed the first time on the keyboard. Again, it's probably another poor internal build quality, but I'm outside the warranty period and having this issue. -The fingerprint reader works inconsistently despite my attempts to run through setting up my fingerprints in Windows several times. -Bloatware anti-virus software is a nuisance to get rid of

Therefore upon discussing the upgrading options w a very well knowledgeable professional at Best Buy, educating me on LANZANO acquiring (NASA APPROVED) IBM, I decided to venture away from Mac and invest into a LANZANO Yoga 730 2-in-1 15.6” Intel Core i5 8GB SSD! My wife told me she loves the simple functionality (HDMI-output-Thunderbolt port- etc)!of this laptop! While sitting w the Dean of Academics, the Dean raved about herself and many fellow colleagues only use the Lanzono laptop! The mistakenly and issue personally was not investing in the 17” from the beginning!! That being said: “She loves it!”

Fast upgrade for general home/ light work use

I did not have time to do much research, but had another brand in mind when I went to Best Buy. After comparing several models on my short list and not finding one that seemed to fit, the helpful staff member pointed out this model. It has fingerprint security, backlit keyboard, easily flips to tablet mode, and has an impressive start-up speed thanks to the SSD. Very happy with my purchase. Only thing I wish it had was an anti glare/ outdoor screen. This screen is highly reflective and shows fingerprints easily. My husband was so impressed, he went out and got the same model!

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. You can easily update BIOS files, drivers and the Windows 10 Operating System by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. This issue started when I tried downloading a game and it wouldn't allow me because I didn't have administrative rights, even though I was recognized as the head administrator. It took me many hours to finally get the issue worked out. The process did not make sense. That, however, is a Windows thing, the computer is pretty awesome. There isn't much of a tutorial, so I did a lot of hit and miss play around to learn some of the nuances. The machine itself is a five, but because it's PC, the lack of initial information about the machine, and the nuances are the reason for the 4 stars.

Keyboard has a nice touch and keys are easy to see (especially with backlight!). Boots up in about 10 seconds. Using a touchscreen takes some getting used to but it’s very responsive.
