However, with Thunderbolt onboard, this serves as a nice option for a work-from-home, dockable laptop. The color is also a little unique, as most are black, gray, or silver.

Finally would not hold a charge so I needed a computer quick. My wife has the 9i so I settled on the 7i and I absolutely love it. I've only had it a few days but so far so good. I'm happy withu purchase.

The battery life is awful and not anywhere near what's represented and the trackpad still feels like 20 year old technology and nothing like the one on my ten year-old macbook. There's no excuse for that.

I don't like how Microsoft products being pushed as the standard. Hard to get rid of links that you don't want if you are a novice user.

When trying to remove APPs links from your Windows 10 computer, often, the problem of a file that can't be deleted can be caused by an app that is currently using the file. You might not know that the software in question is doing this, but the simplest way to fix things is to close down all the open applications on your PC. Wasn’t pushy. Answered all my questions. I had my autistic grandson with me to buy him a laptop and she was so good with him. It was not as easy to set-up as the surface pro. Overall it seems to be a good computer.

However, when I try to install Ubuntu and Linuxmint on it, the touchpad doesn't work. Never happen with my old laptop. Have to use VirtualBox so kinda lagging

Startup is super fast, the backlit keyboard is awesome and the 2-1 is amazing. So far no issues to complain about. Easy to set up and linking my Microsoft account moved all my saved websites over to my laptop.

If anyone else runs into this problem, change the display driver to the basic driver from Microsoft.

The screen is jumping around, so what I am typing is not appearing where I wish. Don't know if I'm not used to this keyboard or what. I think if I get anywhere near the up and down keys is the problem, but it seems that the space bar is also involved at times. It is totally frustrating. Also frustrating is not being able to call the store where I bought this and other items and having to go through the national call center for inquiries and for Geek Squad to too time consuming to be helpful.

If is possible that while typing the heal of your hands while in the Home Position on the keyboard are inadvertently making contact with the touchpad, causing the cursor to move. Adjusting the sensitivity of the touchpad by increasing the cursor delay may correct the problem. You can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
