Buggy and Poor Support
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buggy. Have had to reload Windows several times due to boot issues. Buggy, the track pad is flaky. Buggy, had to reset the machine twice due to non-charging issues. Poor support, they randomly closed an open ticket etc. I'd pass on this one.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 7i 14, model number 82BH00DQUS. If you have reinstalled Windows 11 and reset the computer back to original factory settings and the issues continue, now check to be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11, this includes any legacy software you have installed from an old computer. Additionally, there is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down and could be causing the issues you describe. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. Here is a link to instructions for uninstalling McAfee from Windows 11 Computers:  https://service.mcafee.com/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If there is no incompatible software installed but the issues persist, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Premium Care for additional help. Let the Customer Support Specialist you talk with know about the troubleshooting steps you have already taken. Call at: 888-278-9707.

Good hardware, terrible build.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hardware is nice, especially for the price. Comes with a bit of Lenovo bloatware, but is manageable. The edges of the laptop are the worst part. The parts adjacent to the touchpad are extremely sharp, and after a while it will hurt your wrists/arm.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 7i 14. Resetting the Yoga 7i 14 back to original factory settings may correct the issue you are having. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Absolute Garbage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought I was getting a solid laptop/convertible with touch-screen but not so. After 5 months of normal and careful use one of the hinges completely broke. Contacting Lenovo customer service was a nightmare and they essentially blamed me and said they would not fix under manufacturers defect warranty which is exactly what this was; a defect. Very disappointed and will never buy another Lenovo/IBM product again!

Not worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just returned this product. I don’t know if the product I received is faulty or this model itself is. During week 1 when I was trying to install office 365, Adobe reader, etc, the screen was getting freezed. Using ctrl+alt+delete to end the application didn’t work either. Later I installed chrome and the browser never opens up smooth on the first attempt. I have a 1 out 10 chances of it opening in one click though my internet was around 100mbps. Next the pages would take too long to load. Worst than my current laptop which is just 8GB RAM, I5, 1.6 GHZ The geek squad felt they have a issue too and wanted to look into it deep.

Piece of junk
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm so unhappy with this purchase. It constantly loses the internet signal. Everything else in our house stays connected except this laptop. For awhile chrome wouldn't open. I'm bombarded with McAfee ads. It loses the internet signal 3+ times per day. I have a 10 year old Mac that is consistently faster than this. Worst computer purchase I've made and I will never buy Lenovo again. I've had it for maybe a month and barely use it because it hardly works. Basically threw money away on it.

This model ships with the latest 6G, Wide-Range/High Speed 2x2 802.11AX frequency WiFi which is also backward compatible to older, b/g/n/ac frequency WiFi. Be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You do not need to use McAfee. You can choose to use the free Windows Defender installed with Windows 10 on this computer, or install your own choice of 3rd party Virus Protection Software. But first, if you are not using McAfee, uninstall the program from the computer as there can only be one active Virus Protection Software on the computer at a time. Do not Buy this. This model has serious BIOS issue
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not Buy this. This model has serious BIOS issues. I have two of these machines one 14 inch and one 15 inch. Both of them hangs a lot and the only way to unhang them is to force restart through power button. When they hang the processor and fan is continuously working with loud noise. I once left the town with my machine on sleep mode and came back to find out that the machine was running with full sound for God knows how long. Lenovo customer service is awful they would not entertain and would say that send us machine and turn around time is one month..

Such a bummer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this originally on January 1st. I really wanted to love this computer. And I did, but when I updated windows 5 days into having it, it stopped working. So I exchanged it and put it down to an unlucky purchase of a defective one. Happily went home with the second one. 5 days in there’s a windows update. Ran the update. Computer stopped working again. It’s too bad, I like everything about it but no point in having a computer that can’t be updated without killing it.

Don't do it
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst computer I have ever owned. I am constantly needing to hard start it because it won't shut off by closing it or it won't turn on by opening it. While streaming it will freeze and kick me out of my program regardless of what wifi I am on. Word, or other microsoft products become stuck and won't work. I took my first one back thinking it was a fluke but it wasn't. This one does the same thing. Steer clear, buy something better.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the screen image on your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 7i-14, model number 82BH0006US. Since you mention that the laptop was operating properly initially and even after hardware repair, the issue continues, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Great specs, poor design
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great specs, poor design. When opening this device the screen will crack for no apparent reason. After a single web search about this model we found many cases of this. According to the company it is a design flaw in the hinge placement. So the company is aware but doing nothing to fix it or compensate customers.
