It took 4 visits to the tech department before the issue was resolved. On one of those visits the computer was there for a week during which I believe it just sat on the shelf.

This laptop's touchpad is centered under the QWERTY keys, so that when the typist's hands are in the Home Position on the keyboard, the touchpad is centered directly under the typist's hands, for easiest access.

If it is the internal fan that is making the noise, you can use Lenovo Q-Control to manually control fan and system performance: ( Fn + Q ) option to change the fan by undervolting the processor. I spent the little bit of money I had to buy this laptop, and it didn’t even last for two months; it gave out on me on the most crucial test/finals that I had, it was very disappointing. I took very good care of it, and while I was taking finals the battery said it was running low so I plugged the charger to it and unfortunately it wouldn’t charge which makes no sense since I take very good care of my laptop and charger so there shouldn’t had been an issue, I even tried a different charger and nothing, it ended up dieing on me which hindered with my grades. I quickly took it to Best Buy In hopes to see if there was anything they could do so I could atleast try to do something, but unfortunately they said it was something with the battery and it would have to get sent out for repair which would be 6-8 weeks, so with no money to even be able to buy another laptop I was left hopeless for classes that I paid and worked so hard for while i was relying on this brand new computer.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues charging your Lenovo Yoga 7i 15. Resetting your computer back to original factory settings will also reset the battery which may fix the charging issue you are having. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes, if the battery will not charge, let the charger plugged in to the computer. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707.
