We are sorry to hear that the user of the Yoga 7i-15 you purchased is having difficulty using the built in touchpad. The user can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Lenovo

The sales rep was nice and pleasant, however, not knowledgeable when asking questions about laptops. Was not sharp to address questions to help me decide on which product to purchase. I did wind up with the Lenovo laptop. Secondly, the Lenovo I purchase, had a price drop the next day for $200.00 that I should had been entitled to. I am sure the sales rep had knowledge of this when I chose to purchase the Lenovo laptop. Please review your sale of laptops for that upcoming week and consider giving me a credit towards store purchase!

Not bad I suppose. The touch pad felt really cheap. Ultimately my wife and I found we kept going back to our MacBooks. I ended up returning the laptop after firing it up just 3 times or so.

We are very sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 15.6” Laptop. Please make sure that Numlock is enabled on the device prior to using the numeric keypad. Secondly, try restarting your Lenovo Yoga 7i, as a system reset can troubleshoot many hardware problems quickly. If the issue persists, please perform a keyboard troubleshoot. Windows has a built-in troubleshooting utility to fix keyboard errors, to access the troubleshooter, please type in “Settings” at the Windows taskbar > select Update & Security > select Additional troubleshooters > select Keyboard from the list > select Run the Troubleshooter. Another fix we recommend is to reset the computer back to original factory settings, here are instructions if you choose to do so: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/recovery-options-in-windows-31ce2444-7de3-818c-d626-e3b5a3024da5#ID0EDD=Windows_10

I must have gotten a defective one. First, I have to hard press the number 1 on the numbers keypad because it's not smooth like the others. But I figured, eh I can live with that. Second, when I open it from sleep mode, it always disconnects from the Wi-Fi. I have to wait for it to reconnect or troubleshoot network and services to see what's going on. Now after owning it for about 20 days, it won't turn on. The charging light indicates the battery is full but it still won't turn on. I have not dropped it or spilled anything on it; there's not a single scratch.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i-15. Resetting your computer back to original factory settings may correct the issues you describe. Since you can no longer boot the computer, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom of the device, right near the cooling vent on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Once you have the computer reset, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

Disappointed that Lenovo puts out such a horrible product. I bought this brand new out of the box from Best Buy- 2 days later I had to return it because it kept having flickering issues and the screen was turning black then finally stopped turning on. They gave me a second brand new laptop from the box, and had the same issue on and off. Since the Windows 11 update it is even worse- the screen constantly flickers and is always turning to a black screen every 5 or so minutes. Shame that Lenovo peddles such an expensive computer that is clearly defective on their end! Shout out to my local Best Buy however- you guys are so passionate about what you do, it's sad they have you guys selling this thing.

This Lenovo Yoga 7i 15, model number 82BJ0001US, ships with just two adware programs, a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 (as part of Windows 10 operating system) and a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. If you are getting pop-up messages, they are most likely from the McAfee Virus Protection 30-day Trial software. Your 30-day trial period has ended and has not been renewed, so the software is alerting you that your computer is unprotected against virus attack. You do not need to use McAfee VPS. You can uninstall McAfee and use the free Windows Defender VPS that comes with Windows 10 or you can uninstall McAfee and then install your choice of any compatible 3rd party VPS. The key is to uninstall McAfee if you will not be using it, as there can only be one active VPS on the computer at a time. Here is a link to information on uninstalling McAfee from Windows 10: https://service.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/oracle/webcenter/page/scopedMD/s55728c97_466d_4ddb_952d_05484ea932c6/Page29.jspx?wc.contextURL=%2Fspaces%2Fcp&articleId=TS101331&_afrLoop=1355161020222084&leftWidth=0%25&showFooter=false&showHeader=false&rightWidth=0%25¢erWidth=100%25#!%40%40%3FshowFooter%3Dfalse%26_afrLoop%3D1355161020222084%26articleId%3DTS101331%26leftWidth%3D0%2525%26showHeader%3Dfalse%26wc.contextURL%3D%252Fspaces%252Fcp%26rightWidth%3D0%2525%26centerWidth%3D100%2525%26_adf.ctrl-state%3Dx25crirbo_9 Lenovo

The is my 2nd Yoga. I like everything about it is except the maximum brightness. I was able to squeeze out a little more with the Intel Graphics utility but still not close to my old one. I looked at the other comparable models and it seemed the best I could do was go from 250 nits to 300 for a few $$ more. I'll probably keep it but it seems like the technology is going backwards.
