WORTHLESS WASTE OF MONEY
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know how to put this nicely.... THIS MACHINE IS A PIECE OF SH!!! I have lost countless of valuable work and university content from the screen blacking out and not being able to turn back on the right way. The machine is on put the screen stays black. I would have to force shut off, which leaves WORK & CLASS ROOM related content UNSAVED!!!!!!! This black out has happened twice since my purchase date 12/27/20. I did 1 hard reset that wiped EVERYTHING out within 3 days of purchase. I will not be doing that a second time.

So much regret
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer has gone through more ware in two months than my last computer did in three years. It crashes constantly. and I mean CONSTANTLY. The paint scratches off extremely easily and it is very apparent with the charcoal color. The finger scanner does not ever work and there is no option for the face recognition. I really wish that I had gotten a different computer.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i-15, model number 82BJ0001US. This model ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System and should not crash. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. There is no paint used on the case of the Yoga 7i-15. The case material is all aluminum. If the issues continue, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.

Posted .This Lenovo Yoga 7i 15 ships with a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software, just use the Product Key that comes with your purchased Microsoft Office Software to activate the Microsoft Office Software that is already installed on this computer.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that the Lenovo Yoga 7i-15 does not meet your computing needs. The Lenovo Yoga 7i-15 will boot from off to the Windows 10 Desktop in less than 10-seconds. If you are experiencing slower boot times, Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. If you are seeing popup messages on the Yoga 7i-15, it is most likely from McAfee Virus Protection Software. Your 30-day trial period has ended and McAfee is no longer protecting your computer against virus attack. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Returned after two days - lemon?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent computer. Ended up returning it after two days because it was completely unresponsive in the login screen. Couldn't even manually restore it to try and fix the issue. I guess we got a lemon, decided to go with an HP and haven't had any issues. The keyboard is nice, though.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had issues with the Windows 10 Operating System on your Lenovo Yoga 7i-15. It is possible that resetting the computer back to original factory settings will correct this issues. Since you can not boot the computer normally, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom device, right near the cooling vent on the bottom device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Curser is too sensitive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Touch pad is too sensitive. Also, whenever the curser is moved over or across any hot link, the computer thinks the user has clicked on that link even when that has not been done. I have the curser set at the least sensitive setting, but the touch pad is still far too sensitive. Other than this, the laptip is fine.

Nice machine - broke in 2 weeks....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice machine - but the touchpad broke within 2 weeks. Should have paid attention to the other reviews. First time I have ever felt compelled to buy a service plan for an inexpensive laptop. Lenova is coming out to fix it for free - when the parts become available - but in the interim I have a paperweight.
