    I really don't recommend this

I will start with what is good about this laptop: love the backlit keyboard, love that it converts into a tablet. Love playing the touch screen ability. However, this computer is easily the worst I've ever owned. For absolutely no reason under the sun, it will not let me log into netflix. It continually says the password is wrong (I PROMISE it's not) and even after trying to log in with my friend's login, it still says the password is wrong. Anytime I watch Hulu, the bottom half of the screen glitches (and this is ONLY on Hulu). While the touch screen feature is nice, it is incredibly sensitive and it will flip through every app I have open. On multiple occasions the touch on the screen isn't calibrated and I have to touch a quarter of the inch to the right of whatever I'm doing. This is so unfortunate because this is my second time having this laptop. After the first one I was hoping that these issues would've improved but they did not. I only got this laptop a second time because ONE DAY after my warranty expired, my laptop simply stopped turning on. Best Buy was generous enough to replace it but I would not have gotten this laptop again had I had the choice.

    NOT WORTH IT!

Just hit my 3 year mark with this laptop. Not impressed honestly. I do not use this for business, gaming, daily.. this is used for about 2 hours on a Saturday to reconcile accounts and maybe shop once per month for something online. I would say total usage has been less than 300 total hours (for work that would be less than 2 months) and the battery and/or charging port is dead already. I'm on my last 10% of battery before this thing dies and I have to put more money into fixing it. Definitely not worth the $800 I paid for it in 2021. If you need a daily computer that is reliable, I would not choose this computer!

    Bad computer

I’m so disappointed in this laptop. I bought it two different times and both have broke on me. It is a really beautiful laptop with a cool look, nice screen, good size, ect. It had many great features and felt like an awesome laptop for the first few days. But with my first purchase...the laptop told me I needed an update, and I went through with it because I thought it was a good idea to get it up to date. It ended up getting stuck on updating for several hours.... changing from “updating” to “restarting” for two days. The screen was stuck with a loading symbol for 2 days. I tried powering it off but it would just go back to updating or restarting. Finally it took me to my log in screen....and when I tried logging in, it froze. After another few hours it finally let me back in, but my entire computer was unusable. Everything was frozen and nothing worked. I took it into Geek Squad and they couldn’t fix it. Thankfully I got a refund but still needed a laptop. So I bought the same computer again, after the worker at Best Buy ensured me it wasn’t a Lenovo issue but a Microsoft issue. My next computer was pretty laggy right away. It froze a lot would take awhile to load my applications. It worked longer than my last one because I didn’t agree to any updates, but just a few hours ago it started updating on its own without me agreeing to it.... I should have turned them off but I didn’t think it would do it randomly. It loaded for a bit and then turned off..... and my screen has been stuck on just black for a few hours now. I’ve tried powering it off and on again, and the Lenovo logo will appear, but then the screen is just black again. I’m super disappointed because this computer looked super nice and the people at Best Buy really made it sound like this was one of the best out there. But I can’t believe it died on me twice, must be an issue with all of them and not just mine. It really is a good computer....based on looks and features....but it is not durable..... I read many other reviews and several people had theirs stop working after a few days or weeks of using it. It’s not worth it to almost spend 1,000$ on a computer that might not last that long?

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with a Windows 10 update to your Lenovo Yoga 7i-15 laptop, model number 82BJ0001US. Resetting the computer back to original factory setting may clear the issue you are having. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Once you have the computer reset, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

    Don't Buy a Lenovo

I have had this laptop for 14 months. Up until yesterday, I would have rated it 5 stars. Yesterday, when I went to close the lid, the left hinge basically exploded and in the process it put 3 hairline cracks in the screen. The touch screen function is no longer working and I can't close the lid. I did some research. This is a common problem with Lenovo. Some people had it happen after only 2 or 3 months. Turns out that this is not covered in the 12 month warranty. This has been a welll known problem for a long time and Lenovo has done nothing to improve the hinge. I am highly annoyed that this expensive laptop is now pretty much useless after 14 months. I can't even imagine how annoyed the people must be who had it happen after only a few months. DO NOT BUY A LENOVO is all I can say.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 7i 15. Regarding manually adjusting the screen brightness, first be sure that you have automatic/adaptive brightness turned off. Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 7i 15, model number 82BJ007TUS. This model ships with a Touch style fingerprint reader on palm rest. Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. If the issue continues, be sure that you have setup your fingerprint properly, within Windows 11. Here is a YouTube Video that demonstrates the setup process within Windows 11:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO6mKq2w5vA. If the issue still continues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707. Lenovo

My first time review. this laptop from recommendation is so bad. It is bad from the beginning. I wish I could rate this Lenovo laptop "0". We ordered this laptop from best buy website last August, was shipped to our home okay, Next day we could not turn it on and returned it immediately to best buy and exchanged a new one in store. on 11/23/21 this new laptop won't work again, we could not turn it on and had to send it to the service. The first time they changed the monitor. on 05/22/2022 this laptop will not power on, the power light won't turn on even when plugged in, this time they changed mother board and keyboard. on 06/18/2022, this laptop shows light on charger port when plugged in but other than that won't work at all. The third time they changed USB port and on/off Switch. on 07/04/2022, this laptop post repair the audio system doesn't work, input and output both not working detecting devices. ran troubleshooter which detected issues but was not able to fix it. no sound. This time they updated sound drive software. After 4 times repair for this laptop, we have to extend the warranty even it is getting slow. We asked about traded in with Best Buy, only offered $165 for this laptop over $800 spending in less one year ago. Good luck.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i 15, model number 82BJ007TUS. Since the issues developed almost from the beginning of your use of the Yoga 7i 15 and have continued through several hardware repairs and your troubleshooter scan detected errors within your computer, the issue may be software-based rather than a hardware issue. Resetting your computer back to original factory settings may correct the issues you are having. Power off the computer, but leave the computer plugged in with its charger plugged into the correct, dedicated device charging port on the left side of the computer. This will be the Thunderbolt port with the electric plug icon next to it. When properly plugged in, the LED charging light will illuminate. Once the reset is compete and before installing any software on the computer, test the computer for proper functionality. If everything is functioning properly, create a recovery media drive. If you are still running Windows 10 on your computer, here is a link to instructions for creating a recovery media drive within Windows 10:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-a-recovery-drive-abb4691b-5324-6d4a-8766-73fab304c246#WindowsVersion=Windows_10. Now, if an issue occurs again, you can recover your computer back to this point with the recovery media drive. You can install your software now, but be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10/11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. Here is a link to instructions for uninstalling McAfee from a Windows computer:  https://service.mcafee.com/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 10/11 Desktop. Purchased two days ago. Product worked great up until today when it had a Windows update. Screen froze at "Working on update: 94% complete" for over 6 hours before completing, and now the computer freezes around 30 seconds after i reach the desktop. Tried automatic recovery but the freezing issue is still occuring and the computer freezes before i can initiate a factory reset. At this point I'm returning it, it isnt worth the effort. Hopefully my computer was an outlier but this was a terrible experience from what i hoped would be a strong mid-level laptop.
