Her old laptop was a dinosaur and the battery was all but shot. This laptop is a great improvement for her, she can leave it unplugged for days, the connection and start up are both fast. I had to travel 30 minutes to Baybrook area to get it because my local best buy didn't have what i wanted.

Good student laptop

Good mix of size, power and portability. Fits in student back pack and has enough processing power and HDD space for today’s college campus. One interesting thing is the actual finish of the plastic. Some new laptops do not resist skin oils well, this laptop and mousepad do not seem to be marred by fingerprints or skin oil

I'm overall satisfied with the purchase for the cost. The only "complaint" I have is the "mouse" seems to be more sensitive to exactly what side you're clicking on. I find that when I am clicking on what I want to choose to where my pointer is only to have the alert come up for when you "right click" on something. Jind of annoying. I like the clarity of the screen and that it's got the option for touch screen when my pointer doesn't want to cooperate. Otherwise I'm generally satisfied with the purchase.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. A a bit of difficulty transferring my Windows 10 data from previous computer to this one with Windows 11, but that's not the fault of the computer. The touch screen is a great feature. The maneuverability of the screen is a nice feature, but it's a bit heavy to hold as a touch pad for an extended period of time. It wasn't bloated with a ton of unnecessary apps. and overall I am enjoying it.
