This is clearly a design defect; do a Google search and you will find many other owners who have experienced the same or similar breakage related to 360 degree hinge on Yoga 7i or similar models.

This is my second one. My first one lasted 11 years. It still works. I just could not get anymore updates for windows 7 and needed a secure system. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Mid tier laptop

This is not a gaming laptop and not a hardcore video editing laptop. It can video edit light stuff so u can post on facebook, lol. Im happing with the purchase tho, the screen is a little to dim when outside, ( go to the shade).

Very good quality no matters what website we or he was on. I thought I would need assistance with the setup but it was very easy to do so I also saved on that part and the sale price was excellent.

Great, but camera isn’t quality

I’m going to have to get an extension camera as I’m working from home and it looks blurry. I haven’t looked at the settings so I’m not sure if that has to be altered. Other than that, I really cannot complain or say enough good things.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the webcam built into this Lenovo Yoga 7i 15, model number 82BJ0001US. This model ships with an HD (720p) webcam with Privacy Shutter and Dual Array Microphones built in. If you are getting less than HD quality broadcast video, be sure that the protective film is removed from the camera lens. It is put over the lens to prevent damage during shipping and needs to be removed before operating the camera. If you continue to have issues with your webcam and the protective film is removed from the webcam lens, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type Lenovo Vantage in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on Health and Support. In the expanded menu, select Hardware Scan In the window that opens, select Run Quick Tests. This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on System Update. First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows. Once that scan is complete, select Additional Updates. This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

The only thing is it has a directional microphone if you not right in the middle of the screen it sounds buggy and breaks up we bought 2 so it comes from the manufacturer that way. It should be an option just haven't looked into it.

I am still trying to get used to having sound and scroll sharing the same keys and if you change the time before it goes to sleep, it changes the scroll to regulating the sound. Not cool.

Good but needs a better camera

I am giving it a 4.5 because the camera is too grainy, not sharp and the lighting is not the best. Other than that the laptop is a great laptop. Wouldn't recommend to a friend because of the camera. Zoom has become a more important item during these times

However, I am surprised and disappointed that there was no short summarized user brochure, not even a simple key board sketch identifying keys other than the letters.
