It was quick to open apps and browse the web. Unfortunately 3 days after I bought it the WiFi stopped working. The WiFi button didn't even appear on the screen anymore. The backlit keyboard also stopped working. So I had to return it back to Best Buy and decided to get another brand. If you do buy this laptop make sure to get the one year warranty just in case it starts acting up after the return period expires.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i 15. Check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707.

The only issue was that the video card/software is so advanced the software I needed to run for school needed me to disable the intel iris graphics card. Besides that, MS 365 run perfect on it.

This laptop is fast takes less then 30 seconds to boot up and load desktop programs.

However, I had to return it due to the wi-fi constantly dropping and having to be reset every 30 seconds. Tried it right next to router and it even happened to the BestBuy return desk when I brought it back to swap. Unfortunately, the model was sold out when returned or I would have tried another. Being that I needed a laptop then and couldn't wait for it to be back in stock, I exchanged for another brand with similar specs and am happy with it. I am rating as it as 3 Stars as I firmly believe this was probably an isolated incident and it would've been fine with a USB wi-fi adapter instead of using the built-in.

Half of the screen turned pink on the same day it was delivered to my home. Took it back to the store and they exchanged for us and I also bought an extended warranty for it. So far it has been working great on the second go around.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i 15. Since the issues developed over time, first, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10/11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10/11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If there is no incompatible software installed but the issues persist, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10/11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10/11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Not so great do not recommend

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Both computers froze for more than 2 minutes straight within 2 weeks of opening out of the box after being used for cengage, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word Cloud and amazon prime video and zoom. The computer would be on for maybe 8-10 hours a day and sometimes for only 4 hours a day. This is an unreliable model. The screen when in tablet mode would sometimes be laggy and would be over sensitive and not intuitive to use even In tablet mode. The plastic the body is made of is medium grade, would prefer higher quality materials for the keyboard and would prefer a Keyboard that isn’t off center to the left. Would prefer a keyboard that is centered with “F” and “J” keys being directly center screen. The two USB ports are great, the two Thunderbolt charging ports on the side are great and the overall design of the computer is aesthetically pleasing. The hinges were stiff enoug to maintain a position but they seemed that they weren’t durable and long lasting.
