Now 3 days (let me repeat, 3 DAYS) past the return date it is malfunctioning. The fingerprint reader quit working. Uninstalled and reinstalled, it worked for about an hour. Windows Hello, native to the pc, doesn't work and says it is hiding features that prevent me from using on this pc. So the cool tricks for sign in and such are just not available to set up. Freezes randomly. The CPU has started running constantly. Yes I have antivirus, no it isn't infected with anything. I spend more time trying to make the PC use the features that are supposedly native to it than I do actually using it. Very very disappointed. I have done nothing to "tweak" anything, nor added a massive amount of software. Just normal everyday work. So if it's software related then it has to do with the preinstalled software. It is supposed to be 2 in 1 but I haven't tried it in 'tablet mode', frankly I'm scared to. And now it's just a useless desk decoration. I guess I could wipe and try over, but shouldn't be necessary on a 3 week old computer. I get that it's not a 3,000.00 computer, but 900.00 is not cheap. Not cool Best Buy.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 7i-15, model number 82BJ0001US. First, Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

This system ships with a 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter and Dual Array Microphone built into the middle of the top bezel of the laptop screen. The webcam orientation will remain in portrait mode even if the device is in Tablet Mode, since the webcam remains in the center of the top bezel of the screen.
