Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had issues with the system audio within your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14. It is possible that an update to the latest version of Windows 10, then updating all BIOS files and drivers, including the audio drivers, may correct the issue you describe. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Premium Care Support for additional help at: 888-278-9707.

Has pen tucked away along back of computer. Once set up was fast. Showed battery life of greater than 9 hours, even watching YouTube. The bad: took ForEVERRRR to set up. Didn’t want to down load my virus software. Suddenly in the middle of Camp Cretaceous..screen goes dark, volume cuts in half. This is not in tablet mode either. Settings showed brightness at 100%. Volume at 100%. Had to reboot to fix this. The ugly: the ugly…at this point a new computer shouldn’t do any of the above things so, I decided to return for same computer. Hit reset, got an error message “if you decide to gift or sell this computer you will need to reset as all of your information has not been remove.” Umm…waahaaat?? Then…it “pretends to continue to reset gets to 7% with reinstalling Windows 10, then goes into a loop of reset, no reset, reset, no reset. Also would not turn off. Returned and did not get another.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14. This model ships with a 30-day trial of McAfee Virus Protection Software installed. It will activate automatically with the initial activation of Windows 10 and protect your computer for the 30-day trial period. You do not need to use McAfee VPS. You can uninstall McAfee and use the free Windows Defender VPS that comes with Windows 10 or you can uninstall McAfee and then install your choice of any compatible 3rd party VPS. The key is to uninstall McAfee if you will not be using it, as there can only be one active VPS on the computer at a time. Great for business not for light gaming

Sound is great. But be aware, this is not a gaming laptop. Fortnite and Apex wont run great. But if you need a laptop to surf and be productive, this is a awesome.
