Horrible sales recommendation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Salesperson said this was the beat and the price was high but I believed he was selling me a great product because it was the best laptop he had available. Not true worst and most expensive computer I have ever bought. I have had to reach Lenovo more than 3 times because laptop keeps freezing and they continue to say it fixed when it is not. I have been trying to reach best buy to see if they can help me exchange this laptop for a different one. It’s tge worst laptop ever.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14, model number 82BG0090US. This model ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System and should not freeze. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Buggy, Crashes, Screen and Camera troubles - Avoid
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a school computer for my daughter. it's been nothing but trouble. Less than 5 months since purchase we are taking it back to Best Buy for service. It's on, but the screen is just black. Before that happened the camera died so she was unable to use this for anything video conference related which is kind of the point these days. If we can't get a satisfactory resolution at Best Buy without shelling out more dollars (this was not a cheap purchase) then we'll just scrap it. $1300 is a lot of money for less than 5 months of use.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your daughter's Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14, model number 82BG000CUS. Regarding the black screen issue, resetting this computer back to original factory settings may correct this issue. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. As for the issues with the webcam, this model ships with a 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter built in. Be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. There is a small slider, directly above the webcam lens. Move the tab to the right to open the Privacy Shutter. There is a red dot over the webcam lens that will disappear when the Privacy Shutter is fully open. This will indicate that the webcam is really to use. You can close the Privacy Shutter when you are done with the webcam for your security, by sliding the tab to the left to close the Privacy Shutter. The Red Dot will appear over the webcam lens when the Privacy Shutter is closed. If any of the issues continue, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.

Worst laptop I have ever purchased
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Giving it one star because I can't give it zero. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with this machine after owning it for one, yes ONE, day. Purchased this laptop after reading several glowing reviews and really liking my work-issued X1 Yoga Lenovo ThinkPad. Took it out of the box and charged it, only to have the battery get so hot, you couldn't hold it. Booting up took forever, the keyboard would light up but the screen stayed blank for several minutes. Fingerprint reader doesn't work after taking multiple scans. Should have gone with the HP Spectre.

Extremely Disappointed and frustrated
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WiFi range is terrible. Can not leave the room my router is in however all my other devices work just fine, including other computers. Using computer leas than a week and the screen is shaking and flickering. Apparently, solutions are updating tech/drivers. Not only do I have no idea how to do that but a brand new computer of this caliber and price, should not require updating or any fixes in week 1 I will obviously need to return.

Poor Battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely unhappy with my purchase and returning. I like the actual laptop itself but battery life was no where near as long as advertised. Lasting about 8-9 hours tops. When I messaged Lenovo tech support I was told that was normal. I was told the 15 hours was how long it lasted in “idle time” and the actual length of battery use in active mode was 4-10 hours. I never would’ve bought if that had been properly advertised.

Posted .The Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14, model number 82BG000CUS, has All-Day-Battery Life, thanks to its 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 15 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. Once you have the computer reset, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10.

Terrible Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 star only because I cannot give it 0. Might be a decent computer but when you can only connect to the internet if you're sitting on top of the router I will never know. Now that I have the issue I see it's an ongoing issue. One would think lenovo would fix the issue. It's an awfully expensive paper weight.
