Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues charging your Lenovo Yoga 9i-15. Try unplugging the charger and letting the battery level drop below 50 percent. Now plug the computer back in. The battery will charge normally to 100 Percent charge level. The Battery Saver software installed within this computer will charge the battery to a full 100 Percent charge. If the computer stays plugged in after charging to 100 percent, the Battery Saver software stops charging the battery to help protect the battery. If you roll your cursor over the Battery Icon on your desktop screen, you will see the message - Plugged in, Not Charging. Just unplug the computer, let the battery level drop below 50 percent, then plug the computer back in to charge back to 100 Percent.

The pen works okay for my tutoring which is why I purchased the laptop. I'm not crazy about where the touch pad is located --- maybe it will grow on me. Screen is nice.

The touchpad is centered under the QWERTY keys so that when the typist's hands are in the Home Position on the keyboard, the touchpad is directly under the typist's hands for easy access. 4th Lenovo Was Not the Charm

The Audio Controller and a number of things simply wont register. It keeps trying to update the driver for some and for others simply cant find the hardware. I finally forced it to think there was some hardware there but still no sound. I also understand that 13 hour battery life is the max, mine has only been used a handful of times and can't even make it 3 hours without all of the energy saving options ticked. If I could honestly I would return it.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with updating your Lenovo Yoga 9i-15 model number 82DE0009US. You can rollback a failed Windows 10 update to a previous version. Here is a link to instructions for rollback a Windows 10 update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/recovery-options-in-windows-10-31ce2444-7de3-818c-d626-e3b5a3024da5. If you some reason you are unable to boot this computer to the Windows 10 Desktop Screen to follow the process shown at the link above, you can still reset the computer back to original factory settings. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of this device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Exploring laptop.

I haven't used it for that yet but I have used it to look up items on the intrnet and also explored some of it's built in features. It has the capability to do more than I am used to, so I am learning to use it at the same time. We are very happy with this purchase so far.

The Yoga 9i 15" Touch-Screen

It is a little more substantial (size and weight) than my 14" so I plan on keeping it at home and using the 14" for mobile working. The Yoga 9i 15" has a nice sized screen and larger keyboard than what I am used to and enjoying both. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this version for a "home or office" laptop.

Seems to be fast, definitely faster than my previous computer. I had the geek squad set it up and they will have to add Wi does 11 now also. I think it was supposed to come with a pen/stylus but mine was missing so will need to discuss with seller. Overall very happy!

Multiple issues with the device

It was an open item when I purchased it (could have been a return or a display item) and was marked down for sale. The sales team did not know why it was an open item, but said it has gone through a review by Geek Squad and everything was verified as working. Well, the key board and mouse did not work when we tested the item. It took more then one reboot for the keyboard to finally function. The "pen" didn't work at all, but I was told to allow it to charge and update the driver. I bought it, brought it home and connected the power. Noticed the next day that the battery was stuck at 60% and it wouldn't charge any higher. I was advised to disconnect power, run it on battery and have it "completely drain the battery". I did that and it would still not charge beyond 60%. The keyboard and mouse were getting stuck again repeatedly, meaning, the key strokes and mouse movements would not work at all. Sometimes it would get fixed itself and other times it would require a hard reboot (by pressing and holding down the power button for 10 seconds). That was when I returned to the store for a refund. I guess, perhaps the reliability the Lenovo products were known for is something of the past? The staff was very friendly while I was purchasing it and when I took it back for a return.

Yogas are known for being crap too. Best Buy corporate buyer, deciding what BestBuy carries, should go back to learning from someone else cause the BB laptop selection & purchase usually results in problems. Buyers should go online and follow the expert reviews.
