I bought this to go between work, and creating graphics in Adobe. The pen is super useful for this.

High Priced Lenovo Yoga 9i a bit problematic

A bit unnerving since you you were sold out literally of all other similar models RAM and CPU wise in other brands. I got the exact same unit as a replacement and so far, so good. Had a sound issue with the new unit but was able to figure it out without assistance.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had issues with your Lenovo Yoga 9i-15. Resetting the computer back to original factory settings may correct the issue you are having. Since you can not boot the computer, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I create newsletters with Publisher and also use Photoshop elements with it. ..among other things.

If you are getting less than expected broadcast video quality, check to be sure that the protective film/tape has been removed from the lens of the webcam. This protective film/tape is installed at the factory, to protect the webcam lens during transit and needs to be removed prior to using the webcam. If the protective film/tape has been removed for the webcam lens, but the issue continues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.
Stable laptop

(I had some issues before with HP and Dell laptops. HP had GPU issues, Dell was ok except some speaker problem, but sometimes you jus get a bad apple, I guess.)

Either a bad design or I got a lemon

I took it back to BestBuy and they had to send it back to Lenovo for repair. I didn’t get it back for almost 2 months. The monitor is attached to the base and pivots up and down; and when I did get it back the pivoting was very loose and kinda hangs, instead of being able to position it at a higher angle/location. There’s no way to tighten it, so I’m having to prop it up with something to keep it at eye level. I’m assuming this happened because of all the handling it went through, and someone carried it by the screen opposed to the base…but I really don’t know. The guys at BestBuy just looked at me like …??? Anyway, other than the monitor issue everything worked fine until today, about two months after I got it back, the charger stopped working again. I’m not going to take it back; I’ll just chalk it up to BAD LENOVO product and go elsewhere next time.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
