Need assistance for tablet mode

Everything is working great and the only issue is that when I try to go to tablet mode it doesn't let me touch anywhere on the screen. I need help figuring this out because this is one of the main reasons I got it, so I would use it either way as a tablet or laptop.

She's in college and hates heavy technology. This was a great fit. Though the larger 15inch is bigger than you might think, while still holding onto it's light weight and ability to be compact. I would definitely buy this again. I trust lenovo's yoga line. Pretty awesome tech!

I kinda love this one. its works Good. touch screen is very nice. biomatric lock works perfect. Sound is good. i sometime have problem in typing because i am used to with a little bigger keyboards like HPs and PCs but its very good after all.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. He did say that Lenovas are great computers, especially for blocking spam and entry from other computers. He really likes the ease of working on them, easy and he is very comfortable with them. At one point a couple of keys were not picking up when typing. Now they seems to work just fine. Color is nice not overly bright. Sound is clear but if you like a booming sound, you may want to get speakers.

I needed a new laptop for school that could do everything I needed and a little more. Unfortunately, I had to get rid of it due to the weak graphics card since I do a lot of engineering work and the graphics on this laptop was insufficient. Still does everything else great!

The screen is beautiful with minimal light bleed. It weighs more than 4 pounds so it will be hard to use in tablet mode. Wish it had more or at least expandable storage Bottom Line, if you can get this laptop for 650 or less, its a great buy.

It’s a good upgrade from previous device. Quick, efficient and lots of good details. I miss not having a DVD player included but not a big deal. Definitely there are higher output models. I’m not one to drop a lot on a pc so this works great.

However, the fingerprint sign is glitchy. Its unable to read my fingerprint on the first try. A message comes across the screen saying it was an error on their end. On the second try it works. Other than that its decent.

Good Laptop with a charging issue

It functioned very well for the intended purpose - I did not need it to have UHD graphics or a gaming monitor, but I did want it to be snappy and have a Windows Ink compatible touch screen so my kids have more ways to study remotely. On that it delivered. However, just three months in, the laptop suddenly stopped charging. I've validated with another charger and validated my charger on another Lenovo laptop. I also see now on forums that this is a common issue. I tried all the troubleshooting tricks that I could do without opening the laptop and have decided to send it in for repair. If I had ever thought this was a possibility I would not have bought this laptop. I was very pleased with it prior to this.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga C740-15. First, check to see if the computer will work on battery power only. Unplug the computer and check to see if you can power it up and boot the computer to the Windows 10 Desktop. If this works, now check the battery life indicator at the bottom right of your screen. Roll your cursor over the battery icon and check the current battery charge level. It is more than 50-percent currently, let the battery drain to below 20-percent. Now plug the computer back in to see if the computer will start to charge the battery. If this does not work, be sure you have a backup of all your files off the computer on either an external drive or a Cloud Storage Account. Resetting your computer back to original factory settings may also reset the battery so it can accept a charge again. Here is a link to instructions for resetting a Windows 10 laptop back to original settings: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415. If the issue continues, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.

I previously had a Yoga but I got this one for business purposes. I love the full sized keyboard with the number pad, the touch screen, and being able to use a stylus to write notes. It is a little big for a tablet if you are a smaller person but for me it works beautifully!

Loved laptop, DEFINITELY should’ve gotten warranty

Sound quality was amazing, which was important for me since my previous Lenovo Thinkpad was unbelievably quiet even at max volume. Great quality display and graphics too, so it’s great for watching movies and making digital art. I fell in love with the 2 in 1 tablet design, super convenient. My only complaints are with the external design, it was kind of pointy so sitting in bed with it wasn’t the most comfortable. It was also kind of heavy, which ended up being it’s ultimate downfall for me. I dropped it recently from about three feet off the ground while it was charging which ended up damaging the motherboard. Apparently Lenovo parts are really expensive, so getting the motherboard replaced would cost almost the same price as the laptop itself. So it’s a fantastic laptop, I would only suggest paying extra for the warranty, that was my mistake.
