Have to keep an eye on the cooling vents since it’s a convertible design. Minor design flaw is there is no indention to help flip it open when it’s closed, have to wrestle it a bit since it’s so thin.

Didn't like the fact that it doesn't have different ports for example for Sd cards just for USB but then I didn't look before buying. Other than that it's a good laptop decent price

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Just type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Wanted to love it, but it didnt last...

I wanted to love this computer and did for a long time. It is fast, handles lots of tabs and photos. However at one year and one day it crashed and froze. After multiple attempts and reset I got it going for a couple more months. Then it started freezing or not shutting down. Fan ran more and it just keep having issues shutting down. At 16 months it would have to be hard powered down. Then yesterday it would not turn back on. DOA. It was great but at this price point I would have liked it to make it longer than the warranty period.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this computer for my wife to work at home. does great. picked up the wifi no problem. purchased MS office, works great. here's a tip though. we got Webroot free as an add on, but it came with Mcafee. the computer was really slow, we were ready to send it back but on a hunch, I removed Mcafee and now it runs fast and smooth. don't use tablet function much, and if you are a 4k fan, the HD is fine but it's noticeable if you watch 4k tv all the time, it looks a tad blurry. 4k runs you for just standard 1080p. so if that is the case, i would spring for the 4k version. but this is a good looking machine, my wife loves it.

You do not need to use McAfee. You can uninstall McAfee and then install any 3rd party virus protection software you choose, after you uninstall the McAfee software.
