Excellent working hidden smart looking system. Installed this one to my back door.

The key appeal with bolt is the smart home functionality without the cost to decor. It’s seems that some others have tried to distract with crazy designs to distract from the large and bulky mechanisms. I believe the best home automation is when things work like magic and are indistinguishable from regular dumb setups. This does that. Smart home in stealth mode, that seems like magic.

Great piece of tech with instant notifications on my phone with a full record of events in the Level app. Many ways to lock/unlock, works best with Level keypad or app though as it takes just seconds. Everything needed for an easy install is included, just follow the clear instructions then add to your home via the Level app, name it & you're pretty much done.

Great sleek look. Installation is pretty straightforward but the mechanism does get stuck from time to time.

It barely works ever. I’ll be in my driveway and it wont recgonize that in its range. The app crashes and to use faceid you have to buy there deadbolt. You cant use youe existing deadbolt with key. Theres better ones out there that use home wifi and can be unlocked from anywhere. Save your money and buy something else

One of the best smart locks I have found. With the lock completely contained no one will know you have a smart lock installed. I have had a level lock for almost a year and the battery last about 8 months on a door that is regularly used. To have this lock available when not home you will need a HomeKit hub and it works great with it.

15 minute installation - but keep in mind the lock needs to be lined up properly or else you will receive an error. Also I noticed the proximity for it to unlock varies.

Great quality and perfect. Be sure to look up the lock brand and number you have to ensure it will work with the lock. Takes time to look up but will be worth it. The love amazes everyone and is magic. Only bummer - I’m not seeing it actually can tell if the door is closed. So if the door is ajar and it is locked. You have no way of knowing except if you have a camera on the door. Boo.

Works pretty good. I would say Auto Unlock probably works 85% of the time.

First impression: My first impression of the Level Bolt Invisible deadbolt is good. The packaging is strong and attractive and very nice. The kit comes with the lock, battery, 2 battery caps, strike plate, hardware, 3 tailpiece adapters, and a quick start guide. The lock assembly is solid and feels very well made. Installation: The deadbolt that is on the door I used is a new Kiwkset and it works fine. It is on the compatible list for this smart lock. Installation seemed like it would be complicated, but it was in fact easy. I did, however, run into a problem during installation. After I installed the lock and the app, I held the button to lock it and it locked. Then I tried to unlock it and it gave me a mechanical error. I tried to get it back in sync but couldn’t. I was able to get the lock out of the door and worked with it. It seemed the lock and app were out of sync. I contacted Level’s tech support and got an email confirming they received my request for help. However, after five days I never heard back. So, I contacted Best Buy who put me in contact with them again and I got a reply. They were very helpful the second time and helped me get the lock working again. I installed the lock, and it works just fine. At first, I was concerned that their tech support was lacking. But it seems like my first time might have fallen through the cracks. I’m happy with the outcome, it’s just something to be aware of. App: The app is very simple but very powerful. On the main screen, you have an attractive background image and a lock/unlock button. The button must be held down to activate. That is nice because accidently bumping it won’t toggle the lock. It must be a deliberate action. There is a settings icon which takes you to a nice set of settings and options. I like keeping the main screen clean and the configurations on a single icon. Performance: The lock works great. When you lock or unlock the door, the app confirms the action with a status on the bottom of the screen and a different sound for locked or unlocked. The locking is smooth and quiet. And by using the outer shell of the original deadbolt, there is no indication that the door is controlled by a smart lock. Conclusion: I like this deadbolt. I also like that the outside shell doesn’t advertise it being a smart lock. My house is a smart house, but I also don’t unnecessarily make that obvious. This lock works great and is a solid lock. I feel good having it protect my house. I’m disappointed in the failed first support request. However, they made it up with prompt attention and professionalism during the second time, and I will continue using Level smart locks in my home. I will especially use the Level Bolt Invisible lock on my outside doors.

Works as advertised. Make sure you get a lock on the compatibility list. Our original Schlage lock was not on the list. And the Level bolt would jam. Replaced it with a Schlage lock on the Level compatibility list and the Level Bolt works great. The extended Bluetooth reaches our Apple TV and it now works with HomeKit too.
