Meet Level Bolt, the first and only way to make your lock smart and maintain the design integrity of your home. Level Bolt goes invisibly inside the lock you have today.
A: Level Bolt is designed to exceed ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards for residential exterior doors, and is tested to meet the highest industry standards for durability and weather conditions. We have had customers successfully install Bolt on their outdoor gates, however the exposed exterior housing will be an integral part of durability.
Q: Will I still be able to use the key from existing lock in case battery runs out?
A: Yes. With Level Bolt, you’ll have the convenience of using your phone, voice, or even a plain old key to enter your home.
Q: Just wondering how strong the deadbolt is since it's hallow to accommodate the battery?
A: Level locks meet ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Grade 1/Grade A specification for the strongest, most secure deadbolt lock. To view a list of tests our locks have passed, please visit: https://level.co/support/articles/360040095033
Q: Can this work with a dummy knob?
A: We do not recommend using Level Bolt with a dummy knob. Since the dummy knob does not have a latch, there is nothing to passively hold the door in place with the bolt and receiving hole aligned. You would have to hold the door while performing a lock operation.
Q: How long does the battery last
A: Depends on how often you use the deadbolt via app instead of key. Roughly 2-4 months
Q: Does it work with Google Assistant?
A: At this time, Level Bolt supports HomeKit and Ring via Amazon Sidewalk for remote connectivity and voice control. We are continuing to build out our home platforms integrations, so stay connected with us on our newsletter for updates: level.co/#newsletter.
A: Yes, Level Bolt goes inside your existing deadbolt to make it smart. If you don't already have a deadbolt, feel free to view our compatible and recommended deadbolts on https://level.co/support/compatible-deadbolts. Or, you can get one of our complete lock solutions, Level Lock, or Level Lock - Touch Edition.
Q: 15 times a day how many days battery will last?
A: Level Bolt is powered by a Lithium 3-volt CR2 battery, which lasts about one year with average use. “Average use” means about 10 powered lock or unlocks a day (this doesn’t include using a key to manually retract or extend the bolt).
