I am really pleased with this washer, but I would purchase it elsewhere. Best Buy refuses to give me my reward points for this purchase

I bought this machine for my son's apartment. He seems to like it very well and was impressed with the quietness of the machine when it is running. There is a trick to loading it so that it stays balanced but it's not difficult and is explained in the owners manual.

Best Buy was very cooperative in arranging delivery and installation at a toime when I could be there. Changed twice with no hassle. The washer works very well. The high ratings it got from CR were correct.

This is my first machine without an agitator. I find that it gets unbalanced easily, about 25% of the loads. It is noisy and takes a long time to wash.

Was an OK washer then the mother board failed after 4 years. This repair will cost over $300 to fix. And to top it off, LG customer service is horrible. DO NOT BUY!!!

Does it all-and does it well!!I am VERY happy!!!! I am amazed at how this washer does everything for me. All I have to do is put the dirty clothes in, add softener and detergent and set it. DONE!

This washer has been nothing short of amazing. The top load really is a key asset when you are deciding which washer to go with. LG is one of the best brands out there in regards to their washers and dryers. We couldn't be happier with this purchase.

This is the best washer and dryer I have owned! I was hesitant at first but really happy with my purchase! You can run a large load and use less time and detergent then with using any other washer!

The washer and dryer are both compact and sleek. There are numerous options, maybe too many. The wash and dry cycles are loner than the "old fashioned" appliances and take some getting used to.

I am pleasantly surprised as I was very skeptical of the new washing machines and their water conservation . The only negative I have encountered so far is you can't wash waterproof items so I am not sure how rainwear, skiwear will get washed.

First of all this was the number one rated top loading washer by consumer reports. Also, It was on sale for 525$. It was the best deal I could ask for.

I upgraded both washer and dryer to an LG set. Our old washer and dryer were old,20 years old. This one is like a breath of fresh air. Does an awesome job with a way smaller amount of water and time. Cleans at least 3 loads worth of our old unit at a time.

I replaced a machine that was less than 5 yeares old with this one & it was a really great choice. Water temperature, spin speeds & time settings are a fabulous plus. I am glad I made the change!

Works fine but is extremely noisy when pumping out water and at times the spin cycle seems to be almost out of balance. Works fine and washes clothes fine just a bit noisier than excepted.

Overall we are happy with this purchase, our last washer was a Maytag and lasted 22 years so I am anxious to see if there is a different in our electricity bill with a more efficient model

So far so good. Sure beats the lemon I had before....2 year old top load Samsung. That was a piece of junk that Samsung wouldn't stand behind.

I may sound negative but I was reluctant to buy a new washing machine. I just had to replace my old Maytag. The worn out tag on the back of the machine read 1972 or 8. I couldn't tell if it was 40 years old or 36 years old. I couldn't find the right pump so I was forced to buy a new one. All I know is, my friends and some of my family went thru at least two "new" machines since I acquired my Maytag 18 years ago. Do you think I'll get 30 some years out of this one? I hope so but highly doubt it. It has too many sensors on it and they tend to cost you when one goes bad. Maybe I'll review it next year when I will have a better review from experience.

An oversized or off balanced load causes the machinery drain and refill up to three times using a tin of extra water, making the machine no so "efficient." It is however SUPER quiet and we loved all the added features it offers.

very happy with our LG top loader. the controls are easy to use. no more mildew odor as we had with our previous front loader. would definitel recommend. besides the longer cycle time (compared to our front loader), everything else is great

I love it. After our experience with a front loading, moldy smelling washer, this thing is like a Lexus. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a back, and that the surface of the washer is contour. The self closing lid is nice, too.
