I have owned this washer for over a year and can't believe they still sell this it is the biggest piece of junk wish I could get a full refund

I am completely disappointed in this machine. Since installation my electricity bill and my water bill more than doubled! I had a technician come out this week and he is going to replace the rotor on my 4 month old machine. It constantly says it is unbalanced and the mechanism to resolve the problem is for the machine to refill with water and try to slosh around the clothes and redistribute them. That goes on forever until it give s up and stops and I have to reach in and try to rearrange the wet clothes. The spinning mechanism acts like a centrifuge and my clothes come out smashed against the sides and are a wrinkled mess--not good if you hang up items to dry. If I could return it, I would. I used to have a front loader and I wish I'd bought on again instead of this one.

I have had the washer about a year. The washer does not clean clothes at all. I have had to replace all of my towels several times because they constantly smell horrible. I have to use extra freshners to just make sure my laundry smells fresh. I have cleaned the tub several different times in a month and it does not correct the smell clothes nor does it get my clothes clean pre-treated or not. I do not recommend buying this LG product.

keeps going out of balance. then load needs to be readjusted by hand, so the load that should take 57 minutes takes 2 hours. WHAT FUN!

Bought this machine bacause it had great reviews but I am very unhappy! Works fine for delicate/lightly soiled clothing but does not get anything heavier than that clean! I thought this would be great open drum for blankets but when you use bulking blanket mode which takes 54 min!! blankets do not come out clean! I wished I had gotten a front loader but would have had to move machine position due to a basement window! Not worth the price for sure!!

Although I really liked the controls and features that this unit has to offer, I am very dissapointed in the quality of the machine and LG does not have very good customer support - just a lot of gimmics. If you aren't willing to have a repairman in your house every 6 months to fix this, than choose another brand!

This is a poor excuse for a washing machine. Takes way too long to wash and does not use enough water. DO NOT waste your money on this worthless machine. This piece of junk makes for a very frustrating laundry day. The same goes for the drier.
