When trying to pour the liquid detergent from the bottle cap into the small compartment, it often gets on the back of the machine, OR it gets all over my hands. Additionally, water from the previous wash often fills the detergent compartment and must be manually removed before adding detergent to the next wash. Finally, without choosing cold wash, there is never enough water in the tub to even get all the clothes wet, let alone washed and clean.

Instead I exchanged it and purchased a Maytag from Best Buy. I love the Maytag!

Internal sensors in this washer don't allow hot water to enter the machine. I tried every wash setting (cold, warm and hot) and cold was the only water temperature that filled the washer. The water temperature coming through the hot water hose was 120 degrees. There was full/hard water pressure coming through the hose. Had the Best Buy repairman come out to check it out. He said the machine is defective, so we sent the first washing machine back. The second washer was exactly the same, only cold water no matter what wash water temperature setting I used. Sent the second washer back to get a refund. Very disappointed!!! I did like all the features on the machine, however, I do wish it had a warm rinse option. Also wish it would add water to at least cover the clothes without having to set the "deep fill" option so the clothes would get clean. Using the "deep fill" option every time or having to rewash a load of clothing is NOT Energy Efficient.

All it does is spin the clothes around, it does not clean. I have to hand wash all my kids clothes afterward, even with deep wash. My socks are still stinky or unwashed looking all the time. I once washed a coat, there were multiple spots that were not even WET...very shocking nonetheless. I paid more than $800 for this washer after tax; I'll take $200 for LG to come take this back. In addition, washing bedding products had been a big task, it takes all day because you frequently have to rearrange the beddings to allow the machine to spin (trust me I made sure they were evenly spread out in the beginning). This review is coming from a real customer and a mom whose being doing laundries for > 30 years.
