Did lot of research on washers and it all came down to cabrio and LG with in my budget range and opted for LG and I'm with my decision, it works great and very energy efficient, it washes great and clothes smell good

I've only used it for a couple of months, but so far I love it! Even though the lid locks once the cycle has begun, it's easy to "pause" the machine to add small items after starting the wash. It also has a clear lid, which I love, that allows you to see the wash process.

I love all the features of this washing machine but, I do NOT like that water stays in the detergent tray. I empty the detergent portion of the tray after every wash but cannot empty the fabric softener side. I find this very annoying.

this machine has made my wife so happy. it gives a great wash and rinse. the multiple options are a great help.

We had concerns finding a high-performing model that would fit in our laundry room space. This model was the perfect fit, and while maybe it didn't have steaming features (which I read online are not really worth it) it was the exact top loading washing machine we needed. Front loaders require a ton of maintenance and we were tired of it. Great machine!

I read the reviews before purchasing this washer and the negative ones made me think twice, but since there were more positives I decided to purchase it and I am so glad I did. This machine is NOT loud at all. In fact, it positively purrs. I am so happy with that aspect since my laundry room is near my bedroom. A couple of people said the clothes were sopping wet when finished and I've not had that experience. In fact, they are so dry they hardly take any time in the dryer. Load the machine properly, folks, and you'll have no problems. READ the manual, that will help a lot. My only negative comment is about the design of the machine. The computer controls are in a really lousy place (on the front of the machine). The tub is quite deep, so to load clothes I have to lean against the machine to put them in the tub and invariably I hit the buttons, starting the process. Although this is a design flaw, in my opinion, it's not enough for me to give the machine less than 5 stars. One other thing to take note of is that this machine washes HUGE loads of laundry and I'm now considering buying a larger capacity dryer to accommodate them. Buy this washer. You won't be sorry.

Good for many types of laundry. Easy to use, but the basket is quite low and not easy for short people to get the clothes out when wash is complete.

After much research of reviews, consumer report and google search I decided on this LG Washer & Dryer set. I ordered it, had it delivered and installed and could not be happier. Does a load of laundry in half the time as my old one.

It's energy efficient and easy to install and operate
