We just got this washer 1 week ago. My old washer washes clothes, etc. in about 30 minutes. This LG takes ABOUT DOUBLE the time to wash. Anyone notice this? I wonder if this is a side affect of high efficiency washer? We also noticed there's small puddle of water in the same spot after the washing is over. Any one notice this? IT'S REALLY QUIET.

Did a great job on washing clothes while it worked, tub is a little deep for people with short stubby arms. My wife is 6' and has difficulty reaching cloths at the bottom. Choked and died almost 2 months to the day from installation with OE code. It dumped water all over the floor and only partially drained. From that point on, it would not drain or do anything else. We will see what the repair service says. Only good things is that GS repair service will be out tomorrow, (The day following the washers death) so I cant fault BestBuy yet for their service.

This is my first time writing a review on a product. Back in September my dryer died while my washing machine was still working great, but since I was gonna be buying a new dryer I decided that I will be buying the washer machine as well. Let me tell you something WORST DECISION EVER! I bought this washer with very high expectations since it was high tech and brand new. It was high efficiency and just beautiful looking...so what's not to love..right??? Well... this has to be the WORST WASHING MACHINE EVER...my clothes come out just as dirty as the go in...at first I thought..well maybe I'm not using all the features right..or maybe I'm putting too much clothes..or I'm not using the extra water feature, or the extra rinse option, or the heavy soil option..I mean you mane it...I have tried everything and every cycle in this machine and my clothes still come out dirty...even smelling like food..and I'm the kind of person that will go the extra mile to put fabric softener, good expensive detergent and dryer sheets, and since this machine doesn't allow you to soak your clothes (something I wished I would've known) I have to soak my clothes in my bathroom first and wash them and then I can put them in the washer to get an ok wash. I made the worst mistake of buying this washer and I even got the extra warranty, such a waste of my hard earned money. Oh and before I forget, if you are on the short side (I'm 5'4") also reconsider buying this machine. I have such a hard time getting the clothes out because I can't reach the bottom. If I can I will try to download some photos of how dirty my clothes come out after being washed.

Greatest performance and durability and quite definitely recommend

It is malfunctioning on year six this November. The water keeps running and filling the tank and won't shut off. It was never really a great washer. It was just average.

I would love to give this Zero stars but that is not an option. This washing machine has been the biggest headache. Firstly, it was recalled so they came out and replaced the mother board. Than after about six months it started going off balance no matter what the load size. Had to rebalance the machine and rerun the load from the beginning. LG came out FIVE times. Now the machine is dead. And they are still not doing anything about it. My family and I have had to take time off from work for all of their non service calls. Spoke with LG customer service, they are the worst. No help from them. The service guy came out took a picture and left. LG has no customer service as far as I am concerned. Due to this experience I would NEVER buy another LG product... No matter how good the deal is. Best Buy is trying to help me out with this and i highly recommend them.

My wife and I are very happy with this washer. We purchased the pair when our washer died about 3 months back. Saved $400 on the pair due to presidents day sale still going on. The washer is very quiet and does a great job washing the clothes and towels, bedding, etc. I would recommend using the water plus option for larger loads as there does not seem to be enough water other wise. I was skeptical buying a washer without the agitator but this does a great job and can do much bigger loads without the agitator in the way. Great washer at at a great price. Couldn't be happier.

Stay away from LG products! We bought a top loading washing machine WT1101C Sept. 2014. The transmission/pulsator (part # AEN73131403) broke off completely in the middle of August 2017, not even three years later. Called LG and spoke to Christine D. who assured us it would all be covered and therefore scheduled someone from Mr. Appliance (who they obviously contract with) to take a look. He looked at it for about a minute, said it was broken (really??), said we had no authorization for repair, said it would cost $479 in addition to his service call of $89.95. We called LG back and talked to Jasun Watwood who informed us that Christine D. was wrong to say it would be covered and said they would cover only labor and that only the motor is guaranteed. Will never buy any of their products again. This machine cost about $640 plus accessories (plus the recent 89.95) and we expected it to last much much longer with normal use of one wash 5-7 times per week. No way would we give them any additional money so just ordered a different major brand for another $579. Disgusted.

I was in store shopping for a new washer to replace my broken one. I was helped by Mr. Patrick Ocampo to pick one that best suits my needs, LGWT1501CW. Patrick demonstrated deep knowledge in washing machine, and helped me apply for a Best Buy Visa which saves me 10% out the purchase. The delivery was fast and service great. The washing machine itself is fantastic. Patrick was fast in responses when I communicated with him by text. I appreciate his wonderful service thought the process. What a great, professional, and promising young man! I highly recommend this washer, the service of Patrick, and this Best Buy store #947.

When I bought this washer 2 1/2 years ago, it worked wonderful. I absolutely loved it. After about a year and a half it started saying "uE" on almost every load. Now I can't get through a day of laundry without waiting sometimes 4 hours while I have to rearrange every load several times. I must run a "tub clean" after only a few loads, so at least 1-2/week. It is very frustrating and upsetting merely washing laundry because this machine has made a simple task so extremely difficult. Rearranging load after load is not only tedious but also strenuous when lifting and moving soaking wet clothes that are 1/2 way through a wash cycle. I have called customer service several times and they go over everything and tell me that the machine is fine and I'm using too much detergent. I use less than a tablespoon of HE detergent. I also was told that I need to wash larger loads as the smaller loads would cause "UE" codes. My husband and I have also releveled this machine several times but NOTHING seems to help. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!! It will work great but then cause you such grief and frustration.

This washer is awsome its quite. It cleans the clothes great so far no problems. LG makes great products.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but after using this washer, it's the best washer I've ever used. Clothes are cleaner than ever, and it's a really quite machine. I highly recommend this!

Excellent Washer. Works great. Looks Great........

Within three years of owning this machine, rust formed around the bleach dispenser. LG would not stand behind the product, stating that it was my fault even though I rarely used the bleach dispenser. Then it started giving me the error message LE and it would not spin the clothes out. Again, LG refused to help other than want me to pay one of their technicians to look at it. I will never buy another LG product again.

CANNOT RECOMMEND - I bought this washer and a new dryer from Best Buy about 8 months ago. I can no longer use it. I cannot get LG to honor the warranty. The electronics that control the water do not work anymore. You are essentially buying a computer and we all know how unreliable they are. I will never buy any LG product ever again (nor shop at Best Buy) because they do not stand behind their products and hide from their customers. THIS THING IS A PIECE OF NONWORKING JUNK. It just gives us error messages and the processes in the manual and online are useless

I was a bit nervous with all the new technology but it is spectacular. This machine is like the dream washing machine. We love it. Our friends with other front loaders are very jealous of the features on this machine. If you need a new washer, you will love this machine!

Don't buy a major appliance from a cell phone and television manufacturer. Check the web as LG top load washers have a problem stopping mid cycle with unbalanced load error. The longer you have it the more often it occurs until you cannot get a single load through without throwing the error. LG is no hope for resolution. The matching dryer I bought stopped drying clothes and shuts off after 15 minutes. Stay away from LG appliances. Search the web for LG washer or dryer problems and you will get an extensive list.

I don't understand who would rate this anything higher than a 1 star. I constantly have to either add gallons of water or run my loads twice to get clothes clean. The clothes don't even get turned over, it just swishes back and forth. Terrible.

This washer smells bad all the time. It doesn't matter if I leave it open or closed, or clean it almost daily with bleach or Tide washing machine cleaner. I have service coming to look at it today, but honestly so underwhelmed with this washer that I will never even consider LG for laundry again.

I ordered this washer based on all the excellent reviews. I am 5'9" tall and had to stand on my tip toes to reach the laundry at the bottom of the basket. My daughter, who is average height, had to use a stool to reach the clothes on the bottom of the basket. Years of doing that would drive me insane so I returned the washer after 3 days.
