This new model appeared to be ideal for my needs as it is engineered specifically as an integrated stacked system with the controls for both washer and dryer located in the center of the unit for easy reach. Unfortunately, when Best Buy delivered the unit the delivery crew was unable to get it upstairs due to its size and weight. I would recommend this product only for a first floor installation.

We had a little trouble because the delivery guys switched the hot and cold water inlets, but once we figured that out it was a pretty easy fix.

Washing tub bushing exploded and distributed themselves all over a load of laundry. LG repair appointment is a week out. Things happen so I'm not faulting a failure and repair. What struck me as odd is LG stating "a factory rep, in an LG marked van, in an LG uniform, not a local repair facility" will be arriving. Leads me to believe they're aware of a problem already, or are sending an factory investigator. Odd, either way.

This has been the most amazing washer and dryer I have ever had. Not only is the machine gorgeous but it is fast and efficient. I wash lots of laundry and this machine cuts down on the time and makes it fun!

I’m still getting used to the dryer functions out clothes have came out damp a few times. I like it overall. It is a little expensive compared to getting stackables, but this unit is shorter which is what we needed.

My only complaint, and I can’t figure out why they don’t include it, is that the steam kit has to be purchased separately!! When I checked out I selected every option available to complete my purchase and the steam kit was not even offered separately... I assumed it came with the unit only to find out that now I have to go buy it at Best Buy and figure out how to install it myself. The geek squad would’ve installed it for me if I had purchased it in advance, which I certainly would have if I had only known they were advertising a feature that they were not supplying! Not good LG, not for a $2000 washer and dryer!
