- A: AnswerThe official depth is 30.38". The largest item behind the machine is the dryer vent, unless you vent it to the side. If venting from the rear there should be plenty of room for the rest--hoses and electric, unless your situation is unusual. There are also flat dryer vents that can save room, if you need it. (See the product I added to this post.) Note that in the front, the cabinet of the machine is about 29" deep, the doors protrude about 1.25". In my case, a wall is 30" deep, the cabinet of the machine ended up a bit beyond the 30" wall & the doors protrude a bit more, but to my eye, it looks fine. It's a walkway in front of my machine, so I am concerned about depth, but it's fine. In the photo, the cabinet looks about even with the shoe moulding.

Absolute winner
We’ve had this unit for a month, and are impressed more each day of use. The clincher was when we loaded it with TWO large items...a blanket and bedspread and the washer never gave it a second thought. Dryer? Just as good! We needed a stacked unit due to our laundry room configuration (space is shared with a beer and wine fridge.....priorities are priorities) and our last unit just didn’t measure up. And it is QUIET!! This LG is an absolute champ. I’d recommend to anyone!

Amazing washer dryer!!! Best ever!
Love the washer and dryer! Washer is quiet. Cleans amazing!! The finish sound is awesome!! No more lous buzzer! It plays a song. Very efficient and saves money on electri. Bil. Doesnt heat up house either Love the Dryer! So many settings. Fits our queen comforters!! No binding , still roomy no more washing twice!! I can even usea remote setting with my phone! Great value great color easy care!! Clothes are like new !!

Sleek, high-tech units for laundry perfection
We are very impressed with this setup. It is so convenient to have the washer and dryer combined into a single tower unit with a single control panel. With this configuration, the dryer knows what setting to use based on what setting you selected in the washer, as one example. The wi-fi connection and app also provides added flexibility for our use of these units so that we can be outside the home and know when a cycle is finished. Although the installation was included, we had to install on our own because our space was not ready when it was delivered. But the installation was straight-forward and as expected for a connection of this type. The units are also ultra quiet and sleek looking. A perfect fit for our home.
