The color is gorgeous!! So far it has been working well, and we have had no issues with it. The washer does seem slightly louder than our old whirlpool, but it is not terrible. Best Buy installers were wonderful.

My one complaint is the washer remains wet in the door seal and soap dispenser for a very long time. If you don't leave the door and dispenser hanging open for a full day after washing it will smell of mildew.

It has only a few preset cycles, which cannot be modified. You can down load one cycle from a list in LG's app, but you can't customize it (and you can't see how it is setup until you download it and select it on the washer or dryer). Some specific's, the Normal dry is fixed at high and if you download a cycle that is set a medium your jeans and towels are not close to dry (even setting the dryer to very dry, I had to run the dryer on timed dry for 20 more minutes. Wash times are odd, for example at medium soil the wash time is 35 minutes, at medium/heavy the wash time was 31 minutes, and at heavy the wash time was 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Washes great dries horribly

My issue is the dryer. I absolutely hate the thing. Every time I dry something it has to be run multiple times. Unless it’s a very small load I have to stop the dryer and adjust all the clothes. Using it just now it’s been sitting at 17 minutes left for 10 minutes and clothes are still pretty damp and not hot at all. It’s been this way since we’ve bought it a few months ago. So unless you only do small loads of laundry or have a lot of patience I can’t really recommend this thing.

Its a Energy Star rated device, and is designed for use with HE rated laundry detergents. It comes with a lot of preset functions in terms of washer and dryer selection. My two critique's so far are 1) you have to make sure to drain the washer every few days as part of maintenance. 2) If you do wash a larger load, you may have to run multiple cycles to get it completely dry. Because of the preset functions, its hard to increase the temperature of the dryer between loads,
