    Dryer not perfect

    Washer is ok but when I try to change the temperature on the dryer I have to first change the dry time before I can change the temperature.

    Bought a Lemon, no help from Best Buy

    I bought the washtower during the Black Friday sale and had it sitting in my garage waiting to install it until after my basement renovation was done. After my plumber installed it, the first wash cycle made a horrible jet engine/grinding noise. Obviously I bought a lemon and I assumed that this would be taken care of no problem. After talking to customer service (Louis) today they informed me that I’m out of the 15 day return window and I should have bought the geek squad protection. Best Buy said that there is nothing that they can do and I need to contact LG. I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I am in Best Buy. As a Minnesotan, I like to support our businesses but it looks like I will be shopping elsewhere.

    Waste of time. The online delivery said oct30 made the purchase. A couple of days later i received an email saying that now its nov30?

    Although the sales desk did a wonderful job of understanding the complexity of my order with a LP gas conversion, it is still not done. I have had two attempted install dates: the first time the technician could not do LP gas conversion even though that was expressly in the order. The second time I was informed I needed plumbing repairs, which the Best Buy person who came to my house (to ensure everything was ready in terms of space, electric, gas and water) failed to advise me of...probably because he took only one minute for a casual look over and never looked behind my current laundry equipment. The Crystal Lake Best Buy management team is making good efforts to rectify the issues, but I still do not have this LG Wash Tower installed.

    Best Buy - A Bad Choice for Major Appliances

    I never got the chance to use this item because Best Buy delivered a badly-damaged unit with significant exterior damage and a bent dryer drum that wouldn't turn. After repeated attempts to obtain a replacement, I cancelled and went to my local appliance dealer instead. I will not be using Best Buy for any major appliance purchases in the future.

    first delve guys (3) said they could not deliver because it was a 4 man job, days later TWO guys delivered it, however, the hoses were wrong size (my fault) and I was advised that I HAD TO BUY THE CORRECT SIZES!! this is total bs, not happy, will hesitate before I purchase from bb again, and, where is my 100 dollar gift card that im suppose to get for opening an account?

    Awful installation catastrophe; 2 month headache

    We had the most heinous experience getting our washer/dryer installed /damaged/exchanged/more damaged. Best Buy offered some form of compensation and we have an ongoing damage claim but I would never remotely consider buying anything from Best Buy ever again.

    Very poor service. I had delivery and installation were on Nov 9th, they didn’t show up. Finally they canceled. I never seen that kind of poor service in my past

    We have not been able to use it because there is a leak in the hose which is created a problem so now we are waiting another five days without a washer and dryer until this gets fixed

    Third Party installers do not know what they are doing. They are very rude and no communication. I can't believe Best Buy would put their name behind these companies.

    Twice you delivered a defective washer and dryer. I cancelled this order two weeks ago. What’s wrong with this company. Worse experience ever!! Still haven’t seen my account refunded.

    ZERO Stars above if allowed. Never installed over 4 weeks ...BB kept sending out the wrong install team for a gas dryer connection.

    Ordered it on 12/28/20 and I still haven’t received it not sure how I can review something that hasn’t shown up yet. I’ve now been told 3/23/21 it might be here.

    I spent about 4 months researching stackables & wash towers. This LG kept coming up. SO many great reviews that I purchased it. Everyone was absolutely right about it! Easy to use, great value for what I spent for it. I have a habit of forgetting about the last load in the dryer, so the steam function is very helpful. Very, very happy with my purchase!

    I took delivery of this unit two days ago, and I regret buying it for a number of reasons. First, the good: It is very quiet - not silent, but it is impressively quiet during the washer's spin cycle, which can be noisy even on well-built front loaders. Other cycles are acceptably quiet. The drainage pump is audible, but not loud by any means, and the other wash cycles are nice and quiet. The dryer is, well, a dryer, and the noise it makes depends on things like how many metal buttons are on the clothes that are in it. As for the reasons I wouldn't buy this unit again: It has limited flexibility in choosing what you want the washer to do. Just as an example, if you choose the Speed Wash cycle, you can't use hot water. You can choose very warm, but not hot. The temperature choices are limited for other cycles as well, and there are also temperature limitations for the dryer depending on what cycle you've chosen, and you can't override them. Another example: There is no rinse and spin cycle unless you download it from your phone (I am not making this up). If you want permanent press, you can download it from your phone, but then it will cancel out the rinse/spin cycle that you might have previously downloaded (the washer will only store one downloaded cycle at a time). After you wash a load, the dryer automatically chooses a dry cycle that it deems appropriate for the load you've just washed. However, it doesn't necessarily dry the load all the way, and if you want it dry, you need to choose a timed dry cycle to finish drying your laundry. Anyway, I could go on, but I won't. It took a lot of effort for two very large guys to get the unit upstairs and into my small laundry closet, so I wouldn't send it back even if they would let me. Maybe it will grow on me, but I doubt that it will. I am just happy to live a privileged life where a machine does my laundry and my only complaints are of the my-washing-machine-isn't-flexible-enough variety.

    Had an LG washer & dryer in the house we just sold. The sellers of the house we bought did not leave the washer & dryer so we stayed with the LG brand since we had such good luck with rhem in the past. We went with stacking since the new utility room is small. The machines have been great so far and I expect they will continue to be!
