Q: Can the door opening be changed from left to right?
A: The door for the Dryer on the LG 4.5 Cu.Ft. 6-Cycle Front-Load Washer and 7.4 Cu.Ft. 6-Cycle Gas Dryer WashTower™ with Steam and Built-in Intelligence - White, Model # WKGX201HWA is reversible but the door for the washer is not reversible...^IFV
A: The gasket has drain holes, so there are only small independent drops of water on it after a cycle. The door has a clever magnetic prop to keep the door slightly open when the machine is not in use so everything can dry out. And, there is a Tub Clean cycle designed to be used every 30 cycles or so designed to keep things clean, including unseen areas. If you choose to use the LG app, ThinQ, it will remind you when to run the Tub Clean cycle.
Q: What is the total depth needed, including the 4 inches for venting, for the unit?
A: The depth of the washer is 30-3/8". To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1'' at the sides and 4'' behind the appliance. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. So the total depth needed is 34-3/8". ^Daphane
Q: Can this unit be installed in a second floor condominium laundry closet?
A: The dryer exhaust system must be exhausted to the outside of the dwelling. If the dryer is not exhausted outdoors, some fine lint and large amounts of moisture will be expelled into the laundry area. An accumulation of lint in any area of the home may create a health and fire hazard. ^Daphane
Q: if washer or dryer breaks does the whole unit need to be replaced or just the broken unit
A: If one of the components breaks down beyond repair, the whole unit would have to be replaced--which is similar to stacked sets. Will stacked, if, say, the washer breaks down beyond repair after a few years, you probably couldn't find the exact same washer to replace it, so you would need to replace both units. Stacking units not specifically designed to be stacked together could be dangerous and would probably void the warranty.
A: This is a little low but its very easy to to pull clothes out as the opening is quite large. The washer is ultra-quiet when running as well.
Q: Does the electric unit require BOTH 110 and 220 line?
A: You will need two outlets for the wash tower. The Dryer has to be plugged into the 240 V outlet but the washer has to be plugged into a 120 V, 60Hz grounded outlet. The washer comes with a power cord attached, but the dryer does not. The power cord for the dryer has to be purchased separately. The washer power cord is 6 feet. ^Daphane

Unbelievable Combo
This product is fantastic! We are in the process of renovating our Condo and moved our washer and dryer out of the hallway closet into our master walk-in closet. This stackable sleek unit saves space and can handle more clothes than my other units. The paint finish is superior and the controls require a light touch. Installation by the delivery guys / professional appliance installers looked so simple. The energy efficiency is fantastic and the Full size units are quiet and smooth. I find that the easily centralized controls on the center as a great feature. The drum lights and blue controls incorporated in the wash tower are cool looking. The washer and dryer has large stainless lighted steel tubs with the anti –vibration system (washer) which is an added treat. The large stainless tubs are great for large towels, jeans and a large comforter. No more snagged fabrics. The steam and non-wrinkle cycle work very well and the advanced technology helps. The sanitize feature is great for homes with children and pets for those tough times. The washer is low but you get used to it, not a problem for us. The unit cannot be heard throughout our home unless you're in the room due to its LoDecibel operation. The speed wash is very handy and it spins the clothes enough to facilitate drying them very quickly. I actually dried a load of jeans in 25 min. This unit is superior in many ways, there’s no comparison to my old stackable unit. There are videos on tube that can help you set the system up with your existing Wi-Fi. The wash tower connects to your Wi-Fi allowing it to be controlled by the thin app which can be downloaded. The app alerts you when filter and vent duct cleaning is needed.

Fantastic washer dryer combo unit.
This LG Wash Tower changes everything about doing laundry. The first thing is the large capacity. Large enough to expertly clean a king size comforter with a set of king size sheets. Can't do that in a machine with an agitator. Second is the IA's ability to know what type of material you are washing and pick the perfect settings for you. It even senses the load size. Then there are the little things. A light in the washer and dryer it great. The little song it plays when a cycle is finished is awsome. The overall size of this unit is very small and fit perfectly in my tiny laundry area, but the machine itself is a monster for large loads. It cleans amazingly well. Clothes don't get tangled up in it. The app that works with it is great. It has so many features. Got the gas dryer and it feels when the clothes are dry and shuts itself off. It dries quickly and if I don't pull the load out right away it periodically turns a few times to keep wrinkles away. If you have a shirt that is a bit wrinkled, just toss it in with the steam setting and it refreshes and takes the wrinkles out. Overall the LG wash tower is quiet, doesn't wiggle around and cleans clothes perfectly. I love it and recommend it to everyone.

I’ve been using my LG washing machine for a while now, and it’s been excellent! It runs quietly, cleans clothes thoroughly, and has great energy efficiency. The multiple wash settings are easy to use, and the spin cycle leaves clothes nearly dry. I also love the sleek design. Overall, a reliable and high-quality appliance. Highly recommend!
