Great Washer

However, you have to make sure you clean out the lip by the door, that way you can cut down on the odor that builds up.

Wash time is longer than our older machine. The time is set based on the weight and different pre set options. Cannot pick time manually. Most cycles are quiet, however, the rinse cycle is a little loud and causes vibration. Tried adjusting the levels of the stands.

To ensure the unit is operating correctly after the install, we recommend performing a "Tub Clean" cycle and checking that the shipping bolts were fully removed from the back of the washer.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.well, after 15 years, our previous LG washer finally died. after reading other reviews, we decided on the 8-cycle because of the LED screen issue others were having with the higher cycle models. in the end, 8 cycles is more than enough for our needs, so it was a win-win. we ordered this item from BB on a friday and it was delivered the following monday. the delivery guys were very efficient and helpful. overall, a very good experience!

My last washer was an LG (lasted 12 years) The normal cycle was 50 minutes. On this washer the normal is 90 minutes. We try to remember to select "Speed Wash" to save time. Other than that, it's a good washer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My 2 year old LG front load (WM3400DW) is rusting out on top portion of machine underneath lid and detergent dispenser. Not over filling dispenser in any way shape for form. Cannot understand why this is happening. Very low quality. Never ever had any washing machine rust like this one. It is in my house, not a damp basement or near leaking pipes either. Only I use it.

Our first one broke in less than a year (a piece broke off in the barre in a normal, regular wash!) and it was a nightmare working with LG to get reimbursed for it under warranty. 6 months later we still haven’t been reimbursed despite being told a “check was in the mail”. Beware and get Best Buy warranty or something else.
