A: It is recommended that you periodically check the drain pump filter on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle High-Efficiency Front-Loading Washer with 6Motion™ Technology - White, Model # WM3400CW for any foreign objects or lint that may clog it up and prevent the washer from draining properly. If you look at the main image for the washer, you will notice the access panel in the lower left front of the washer. You will need to open that access panel to get to the drain pump filter, but it is recommended that you place a shallow pan under the access panel to collect water. When you open the access panel, you will see the drain hose and drain pump filter. The drain hose has to be pulled out carefully and placed in the shallow pan so that when you remove the plug from the hose, any water that is left in the tub after the washer has drained will drain out completely. Once the water is drained, you can plug the drain hose up an reinsert it back in place then remove the drain pump filter by turning it counter-clockwise. You will need to have a rag handy because a little water will run out when the filter is removed...^IFV

Effective, Quiet, and Efficient
When our 23 year old Whirlpool Duet failed recently we learned that the required repair did not make sense for a nearly quarter of a century old washer. We wanted to buy a Speed Queen front loader but unfortunately their capacity is only 3.5 cubic feet which is not enough for our family. We decided on this unit for a number of reasons. One is it's top Consumer Reports rating. The other being it's basically the same unit as two more expensive variants with features we don't need. We don't need an insane number of cycle options, the ones offered on this machine are more than enough. And as far as Wi Fi enabled all we can say is... really? We are as tech friendly as anyone but sorry, we can live without our washer being tethered to our home network. So far we are impressed with this washer. It's very quiet, Energy Star 2 compliant, and does a very good job cleaning clothes. We can't speak for it's long term reliability yet other than to say, based on our old Duet's performance this washer has some pretty big shoes to fill. Time will tell. Special thanks to the extraordinary staff at Best Buy. They have earned our business time and time again.

Vibration/Shaking Resolution
Love this washing machine because of its simplicity and overall look. At first, I was having difficulties using it because it would shake up & move around like a storm. Ordered some anti-vibration pads for the legs to see if it would help and it did absolutely nothing began to worry i’d have to return if or tie it down. After researching for a day or two, finally read a forum on Reddit that mention to remove the 4 Transit Bolts that are located on the rear of the washing machine. Now my washing machine works smoothly. I still decided to keep the anti vibration pads but finally the machine is not sliding around which would cause it to disconnect from the outlet. Hope this review helps someone going through something similar.

Great stackable washer!
This washer and dryer set is the perfect size for stackable apartment laundry rooms. It does a great job at cleaning, holds a decent amount of laundry, and has a nice sleek look. I also love the little jingle when your wash is done.
