Nothing but trouble since it arrived!

First, it does not adequately drain, leaving a small pool of water after a wash, despite attempts by the plumber, etc. and making sure the drain is no further than 5 ft. away. We were never told of the latter requirements when purchasing the machine. Our former LG never required such extensive modifications! Second -- no matter what I do, I cannot get it to stop rinsing the clothes with hot water! Despite the setting I choose, and despite the manufacturer's claim that "all rinses are in cold water," when I remove the clothes, they are HOT! Third -- I cannot customize any cycles. Despite all the buttons, they are preset. You can't stop it in the middle of a cycle. Fourth - in particular the cold water wash/delicate cycle leaves the clothes very heavy/wet. Fifth - I can't wash bathroom rugs in it without it leaving them soaking wet and "UE" -- uneven code comes up and won't spin them dry. All in all -- I wish I had never given up my old LG machine!

Long washing cycle

Chat assist person tried to me make new best buy credir card and order one more product make advance new installation schdule. 3. Nobody doesn't assist me about this delayed schedule so I staying 1weeks without washing machine.

Trash design

They both had the same issue: it ran scolding hot water for a cold wash and had a door error that prevented the machine from ever finishing a wash. I learned this because my sheets sat in there, soaking wet for hours. A technician told me this is very common among these machines and recommended I just get a different one. Don’t bother!!!

Doesn’t last!

Have to restart washer 3-4 times to complete 1 load that takes hrs! Have the protection plan and tech came out in a couple days. He orederd parts and said he would be back on Thursday. He never showed or called. Called customer service and they told me it’s scheduled for next Wednesday. Hopefully be shows because we can’t do our laundry for almost 2 weeks! Should have kept the old washer that was outdated but worked.

I called LG and they said a technician would be out to take a look at it, but after staying home for their 4-hour window, they failed to show. I had a Maytag that was awesome before moving and having to buy this. I should've gone with that brand.

Did not work. Best buy was bigger problem

First time using the washer machine and it didn't work right. Spent three hours with Best buy to get a replacement. Mostly upset with Best buy. They didn't have a same replacement and only wanted to give me lesser value washer machine.

I thought there was a gliche in some of the settings on dryer. Called for service and find that settings are preset, and you cannot change. For instance if you want to dry on low for more than 20 minutes you cannot set because it is preset on high because they claim it is a large load, not considering a low setting might be preferred. Permanent press and normal you can only dry on medium or high. Manufacturer claims we should do more research before we buy. Washer also has some preset settings. Too computerized, but am forced to accept that and try to improvise. Some settings I will probably not use. Am unable to exchange or return.

DEFECTIVE MACHINE, STILL WAITING FOR REPLACEMENT

The installers left without staying to see if the machine was working properly. The cycle NEVER completed. It stalled on the rinse cycle with an error message about water supply. We finally got it emptied and tried another cycle which worked perfectly. Bottom line: three cycles do not work--two stalling in the rinse cycle and one not working at all. WE ARE WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT MACHINE.
