This LG washer is an outstanding machine! Quiet and super cleaning of clothes is it's high points..........the wife first front loader so a new adjustment to make; must get the pedestal otherwise you will be om your knees. My wife is Korean so consulted some relatives and they advised to get LG over Samsung appliances.........so I did with no regrets. Don't get the Steam gimmick machine!

This washer is good when gotten on sale however I dont think it is worth the regular price because the upgraded version of this washer is much better and normally only 100 dollars more and works better and has more features however this one is good when on sale for 600 dollars or less. It does make more noise than my old one this one makes a ticking sound when spinning almost like something inside is hitting the side of the machine however i cant find anything when i look inside or at the back of the washer. It is also slower than the upgraded version of this washer as a normal wash cycle out of the box takes 2 hours and 45 minutes also using the pre wash option doesnt use enough water to even make your clothes wet so it is useless.

For a washing machine, I find it quite handsome. It operates very quietly and the little "jingle" for end of cycle is so much more pleasant than the hideous noise older machines make. I only use cold water so this machine is designed for that. Only problem is it runs a much longer cycle on cold, like 3 hours for a heavy load. It also has settings for towels and sheets which I have not used yet; not sure how long that cycle will run but I am sure it will do a great job. It also has a cycle for cleaning itself. Also, the drain filter is located on the front of the machine which makes it much simpler to clean on a regular basis which is important to keep things smelling right. Considering the price of other machines, I am very pleased that this one was more reasonable and was definitely worth it.

This washer is awesome! I opted to go with this model based on Consumer Reports rating - and I wasn't about to pay an extra $150 for the model above it since it just added wifi. Who needs wifi on a washer? Definitely not me. But all of the cycles work well and clothes get clean. Plus it holds more than enough for me.

The washer is quiet and efficient and gets the clothes very clean. Front loaders have several advantages over top loaders and this model is proof: it’s gentle on clothes and it doesn’t lose socks! You just have to be very careful about keeping it clean and the door and rubber rings dry and clean.

Wow what a difference with this machine that is practically 100% vibration free. My prior machine shook the room horribly. This machine spins almost all the water out of the clean clothes that will now take less drying time. Very quiet, almost forget it is on. Cute little tunes when finished.

This washer is a great value. We are extremely happy with its cleaning performance and ease of use. Love the magnet that keeps the door slightly propped open for ventilation between loads. Keeping it simple and being realistic about the settings we would actually use saved our family over +$250.

I was looking for something simple. I did not need all the fancy features and complicated bell and whistles. This machine checks all the boxes. Gets the job done and terrific price point. Quiet machine. My washer/dryer is exposed in the hallway, so it's also aesthetically pleasing. I have the matching dryer.

My only issue is that you can't wash towels with sheets. If you do, it says the load is unbalanced and you have to pull out something. So you really need to think about what you are putting in with the towels. It doesn't use much detergent, is relatively quiet and cleans very well. Overall I like the machine just be careful that the loads are balance.

Replaced this washer for a Kenmore that looked quite like it,I had had it for 8 years then the water pump broke. For the price of repair, plus $40 more I bought this machine. Works great. It’s panel is all white, easy to see not like other LG’s that have dark control panels. Only complaint would be cycles are LONG. 90 minutes is average. It may hold a lot more than my old washer but takes so long to do each load it takes same amount of time to do laundry. No time saving here. Also you MUST be fastidious about wiping down inside door and all grey rubber gasket around opening every single load with dry rag otherwise mold will develop. Also take apart the Compartment where the soap goes dry all inside there when you are done doing all your wash and leave the pieces pulled apart upside down to dry on a towel on top of washer until next time you Wash. . Then ALWAYS keep door ajar quite abit for circulation. Have had three front loaders and learned this is the only way to not get mold. Also I NEVER use laundry softener only White vinegar in that compartment for softener, makes everything soft and helps clean washer too. Once a month use tablet inside and run clean cycle and this washer should last years.

Cleans well and relatively straightforward to use. It does, however, take longer to run the same cycle that I ran on my Kenmore washer (+20 mins).

this is our 4th washer and it is Quiet efficient, the cycles are quick and what normally took hours to do is finished in about 1/3 of the time. I have ran the washer through all the cycles and found it to be quiet and almost vibration free . I love Lg products and this washer is near the top of the list I also own the steam dryer and both work flawlessly
