PURCHASED THE WASHER WITH THE COMPATIBLE "LG" GAS DRYER. ALSO PURCHASED A COUPLE OF PEDESTALS. I HAD A MINOR PROBLEM WITH GETTING FAMILIAR WITH THE NEW TECHNOLOGY INITIALLY, BUT GOT UP TO SPEED RATHER QUICKLY. MY OLD MAYTAG WASHER WAS (15) YEARS OLD AND IT WAS TIME FOR A SWAP. I REALLY LIKE THE "SOAK CYCLE" -- AS I USE IT RATHER FREQUENTLY. I ALSO LIKE THE "FRONT- LOAD" FEATURE, ONE THAT I WAS NOT SURE I WOULD CARE FOR, IN THE BEGINNING. A GREAT MODEL -- FOR THE PRICE. ALSO, AFTER ( 3 1/2) WEEKS OF USE -- THE MELODY FINALLY PLAYED AFTER THE WASH CYCLE WAS COMPLETE. ?????

Good washer. The gas line has to be precise and the unit is pretty big so make sure you have adequate enough room for the unit. After usage, it does leave an odd smell.

Easy to use, replaces our old LG. Improved drain. I like the higher height than our old one. The settings are very easy. We did not get a pedestal and the height is fine.

It uses not enough water to wash. It's very quiet. Big capacity. No water heater. The real washing time does not match program time in the display by a huge difference. The real washing time is shorter than displayed. It smells at high rpm for months.

We are very pleased with our latest purchase. We have had much success with our previous LG washer and dryer and therefore chose to stick with the same brand.

Does the job, same size and shape as my 11-year old Kenmore, and the door doesn't bang my laundry room wall like the old one.

I replaced my Whirlpool Washer and Dryer with LG because of the consumer report ratings. The washer works better that the dryer. It just doesn't seem as "solid" as the Whirlpool. I have no complaints about how the machine works, it just seems that the metal used is much thinner and lighter weight than my old machine.

Delivery install went smooth! Delivery guys were on time, polite, & fast. Washer is working great! Our old LG washer made it 10yrs. Hope this one does as well.

LG 4.5 Cubic Ft.front load washer with 6Motion technology is working well. Replaced a 10 year old Sam Sung washer, that was leaking and had a vibration issue. The only thing, is when select Tap Cold water for washing, after the spin cycle, we noticed that the washed clothes feel warm. I thought that it would also be a Cold water rinse since I selected Tap Cold wash. So far, give it a 4 star rating. True test will be after 2-3 years, of washing and see if this will last 10 years too.
