    My 2 year old LG front load (WM3400DW) is rusting out on top portion of machine underneath lid and detergent dispenser. Not over filling dispenser in any way shape for form. Cannot understand why this is happening. Very low quality. Never ever had any washing machine rust like this one. It is in my house, not a damp basement or near leaking pipes either. Only I use it.

The rust could potentially be caused by moisture build-up from detergent or water around the dispenser area, or it could be a result of the machine not fully drying out between cycles.

    I bought this washer a month ago. It seems to be well made and it definitely gets the job done with ease. From my experience LG makes quality washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give this machine 5 stars is because it is not the top of their line washing machine. As far as features go, it is a nice step up from the entry level machine without breaking the bank.
