After only a few years the bolt backs out and the plastic splines grind off. Those business savvy LG people designed it for a specialized tool to get at the bolt for tightening. Just don’t buy LG products.

Very pleased with this washer

The machine operates quietly and efficiently. My clothes are coming out nice and clean, however they are in much tighter twists after the spin cycle than compared to clothes washed in my old machine, Therefore I have to shake them out well before placing them in the dryer.
