I read so many reviews before finally zeroing in on this washer and matching dryer, and I decided to take a chance in purchasing them online without seeing them in person, because of the many good reviews that this washer and matching dryer had. After owning and using them for about a month, I can tell you that the great reviews were absolutely correct. I love everything about this washer and dryer! First of all, they are both very quiet. With the laundry room door closed, I can't hear them running except perhaps when the washer goes through a very high spin cycle. I love that there are so many choices for cycles, especially the "bulky/bedding" cycle that adds extra water for items that might otherwise "float," like comforters. The washer drum is huge -- I can do three times as much than I could with my old washer that had an agitator in the middle of the drum. I also love the musical tone that plays when a cycle is complete -- so much better than those annoying buzzers! And I love that I can see the clothes washing. That might sound strange, but sometimes it is nice to see how things are going. I would highly recommend this washer. It saves water; however, the clothes come out very clean. And don't forget to purchase the matching dryer! You won't regret it, because they are both excellent.

What a disappointment with this washer. It was so noisy that we had to exchange if for a quieter one.

I feel clothes don't come as clean with less water

I am surprised it washes with so little water and yet the clothes come out clean!

I Have to wonder if the negative things said about this, if the people didn't read the book about certain features. There are some features that require you only put a few garments in, therefore would be less water. Also, sometimes it will say a cycle will be long but turns out it isn't. I just put a load in that said it would take an hour, it took 40 minutes. The washer weighs and adjusts the preset cycle based on what you have put in it and how dirty it is. I have been super happy with this washer and matching dryer set. The one thing I really like is each time you start the washer you are starting with a clean slate of options. What I mean is, if your teenager comes along after you washed something on a small cycle of hot water, they aren't going to throw a huge load of jeans in and get stuck with low water and hot because it needs a setting picked each cycle. You even have one button that you can program if you know your teenager needs a certain cycle every time. THey just need to know how to push one button. This is user friendly but if you are using the "coldwash" feature (not to be confused with the cold wash temp), read the book, otherwise don't complain if you didn't read what it does. I would also like to add, I washed 2 big dog beds at the same time and could have honestly thrown a few towels in if I wanted. I did another load with 12 towels and the machine was daring me to add more to it. This holds a lot of laundry!

Unfortunately we bought this washer and the matching dryer as a set. The dryer worked but the washer didn't. Best Buy was awesome and upgraded us for even better ones for a little bit more money.
