Time set for 50 minutes or more to dry and 5 minutes later the timer shows 2 minutes left and clothes aren't close to being dry. I think the sensor is bad.

Purchased a Whirlpool washer and found it to be extremely noisy and it rattled so much we were afraid the neighbors were thinking we were hitting it with a hammer. Using the 30 day return policy we than choose the LG washer and couldn't be happier! It is extremely quite and it doesn't rattle like the previous washer did. It might cost more but it was worth the added cost. I would highly recommend this washer to anyone.

I have been using this washer the past 8 months and absolutely love it. It's quiet and has the option of stopping the washer to add clothes. I had the old agitator style and wondered if the clothes would be clean with less water. They are! I especially like the glass lid and the huge capacity. I'm 5'4" and a larger washer would not allow me to reach into the bottom of it. It's a great product and I highly recommend it.

The Best For The Price i Really Love It , So Silent,high Capacity and the clostes are almost dry when the washer end.

Purchased back in 2016 and it’s still up and running. Came with a 10 year warranty which is nice. Haven’t had any issues.

I was going between whirlpool, Samsung and LG initially. After I read lots of reviews, did several comparisons, I decided to go wt this LG. Now, I am happy I made LG choice to go with since I love it so far. Kids love it too.

We're really enjoying this purchase. Incredibly quiet and does a great job on clothes. We literally can't hear it running in the next room while our old washer shook and made lots of noise. Very happy with this purchase.

This washing machine takes a minimum of one hour to wash a load of laundry. It is constantly off balance. The "smart diagnosis" is a JOKE! They automatically tell you they need to do a service call. I have several friends that have the same type of washing machine and not one person I know likes their machine. I have been washing a load of five shirts and a pair of shorts for two hours now because it constantly goes off balance and starts refilling with water. Which will probably ruin my dryer! I am ready to put this thing on the curb & hope someone takes it but then I'll feel sorry for them because it won't work for them either!

(ZERO STARS IF IT WOULD LET ME) This washer is horrible. Clothes do NOT get cleaned no matter the size of the load. It says it has true balance but I've never had a washer stop for being uneven more than this one. It takes forever to do a load because it keeps stopping. And I always take the time to place each article of clothing in order to make sure the tub is even before I start the machine. I've never stood by a washing machine as long as I have to make sure it doesn't stop for being uneven. I've literally sat there for 30 minutes straight several times. No one should ever have to do that. Do NOT buy this washer. I have no idea how this has such great ratings. Yes, I'm washing similar clothes and not mixing blankets. I honestly put one shirt (here) and a similar shirt opposite to it, shorts (here) and same kind of shorts on opposite side, etc. Not even joking. Please do NOT purchase this product! You will regret it!

Bought a front loader LG 4 years ago and it started to rattle. Geek Squad said it would be very expensive. it was better and more cost effective to buy a new one. Bought a new top loader. Got it on Monday, Died on Tuesday. During the 4 loads we had, it stopped in the middle of cycles.Then it completely died. I asked for an exchange and they shuffled me around until I had to explain the situation for the 3rd time. Eventually, they said we can deliver an exchange in a 1 and 1/2 weeks. Not a happy camper. Poor product (maybe just a lemon) but wow what lousy service. Waiting to talk to a manager. Been on the phone for 41 minutes and waiting.

The glass lid was not a good idea. You can see that the clothes are not covered with water when washing. They DO NOT come out clean. I have had to wash the same clothes two or three times to get them clean and we are not dirty people. One way to solve this is to wet the clothes before adding to the machine. This way the sensing mode thinks the load is heavier or I add water to the machine with the load. This is in addition to using the water plus feature. When I wash dark clothes, there are white blotches left on my clothes. I wash my dark clothes inside out to solve this problem. I should not have to do this. If the blotches are really bad I wash with towels to get them clean. I use the correct detergent and use the TUB CLEAN every two weeks.

I hate this washing machine so much haven't had it all but 3 years and it sounds like Im trying to wash bricks in it. So I ordered the parts to fix it as LG hasn't put out a recall for this very common very stupid design flaw in the suspension arms. I got 3 out of 4 in and the washer cut me 5 times. There's one inch of clearance to get the military grade bomb proof plastic pin out and it wont release. even when I'm pressing the tab. Don't buy an lg washer It will make you bleed and you will want to smash it into pieces.

I bought this in 2015 and it is awful. Without an agitator, it doesn't clean your clothes very well at all. In spite of the big center you can't do a "big load" because it can't get all those items cleaned. Im really really disappointed. And now, I am getting some kind of dirt on my clothes after they come out of the washer. UGH

Great machine but the drum is a little deep. Bought it to replace a Samsung and am very happy with it.

My wife and I are very dissatisfied. Had the washer for 1.5 years, constant trouble with it faulting with UE code, where it stops, refills, repeats the error. UE means out of balance. We are constantly redistributing the load, having it re-leveled and just realized it goes to UE even when no clothes are added and we run an empty cycle. If that wasn't bad enough, tried to get a service call, it's out of warranty and was misquoted two times by service rep (Dex) on cost of repair. Settled on a price, we thought, he took our credit information and said "Do I have your permission to charge your card $375.00" which was $45.00 over the initially quoted price. I thought the original was too high and at this point said "no" at this price I will go out and just buy a new less expensive washer where he said, sorry, I already charged it. Why did you as permission if you already charged it? Now, 1.5 hours later, 5 different representatives including their warranty underwriter Assurant Solutions, I finally have it resolved....I think. Thanks to Donovan at Assurant Solutions, he was the only competent person tonight. My wife and I are done with LG, no more appliances or need to deal with incredibly disorganized service. BTW, did I say that one service rep had trouble communicating with other reps in the same organization. Just amazing!

I've had my LG HE washer for 5 years. I researched all the consumer reviews at length before purchase. This was the only washer with a "10 year warranty" on the motor. OK- great!! All was well until it recently began to become unbalanced when attempting to spin. Called place of purchase. Was turfed to LG repair line & was told my machine had been recalled for this problem. I had NEVER been notified of RECALL by LG. Said they'd send a technician to correct problem. It is " a software problem ". That was SIX WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!! Still waiting!!! Have made multiple weekly calls. Major lack of communication & skill (huge run-around!), even though they give you a "confirmation" number & know you by your phone no. Apparently, lack of service centers &/or knowledgeable techs that work WITH or FOR LG. Due to such a poor & timely response, & disregard of consumer satisfaction---I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT!!!!! Live & learn--please save yourself $$, stress, & valuable time!!! I've resigned myself to buying cheap next time, & just replace every year or 2--save my $$ on the warranties & bells/whistles-/not worth it!!
