It has been leaking for several months. The leak is in the door seal and will cost $700 for repairs. $700 to repair a machine that is 2 1/2 years old. Shame on LG for selling such a poorly made product. I've decided to buy a new machine and it will definitely not be an LG.

One helpful step to reduce or prevent leaks in the meantime is to inspect and clean the door gasket. Detergent residue, lint, or small debris can sometimes prevent a tight seal, leading to water escaping.
