I bought $3500 worth of LG Washers (Yes I bought the little washer that sits under the big washer. Huge Mistake!!) and dryer in February 2023. In November I realized it had been leaking for some time ruining my laminate floor and requiring mold remediation and carpenter work for the ruined baseboards. $6650 worth. You can see in the photos that the rubber hose rubbed holes in itself due to poor design or poor installation. It has been over a year and LG just informed me that they will only reimburse me $5173 due to depreciation since the remodel is 10 years old. So because the LG Washer failed in the first year due to a manufacturing defect I’m stuck with $1500 expense just because my house wasn’t brand new?!? That’s ridiculous. Do NOT buy an LG product unless you are prepared to be shafted by LG when it fails. I should have stuck with Samsung or any other brand with better customer service. I do not recommend LG products to anyone.

Worst washer

Waste of money!! This washer leaks out and already been repaired over 3 times in one year

This washer smells

I don’t think anyone wants to purchase an expensive large washer that has to have the door open at all times. It’s an inconvenience and it doesn’t look good. Not happy with it

So far we've used the normal, heavy and bedding settings. I've noticed cleaner cloths with a frsher scent since using thia washer. I also notice less of a 'wet' smell in our cloths. This is probably in part to being new washer versus using an older 5 year old washer.

I had the 5.2CUft version for a few years at my old house and it was perfect! I moved and purchased this newer version and it is even better! Definitely, buy LG for a washer or dryer.
