Poor washer/Pedestal or poor install

From the beginning the washer makes an extremely loud noise anytime during the spin cycle. As I’m sure everyone knows, it’s extremely difficult to get adequate help when calling Best Buy. Most time, the call seems to be directed to a foreign country where there is a huge communication gap and then you’re transferred somewhere else. Also, when I made this purchase originally and set up the delivery date, Best Buy cancelled the delivery date WITHOUT explanation at Noon on said appoint ment date….This was after the numerous automated confirmations and after the delivery confirmation the morning of delivery. I was sent a text asking me to make an appointment for delivery the same day the washer and dryer were supposed to be delivered…Anyway, no I have a brand new washer that makes extremely loud noises. My previous survey has gone unanswered or unaddressed when I submitted it weeks ago. I have video of this issue and would love for someone at Best Buy to be able to see what I’m dealing with. Unfortunately the thousands of dollars I paid for the washer and dryer is probably all they care about.

Worst washer ever! LG service is Terrible!

I bought $3500 worth of LG Washers (Yes I bought the little washer that sits under the big washer. Huge Mistake!!) and dryer in February 2023. In November I realized it had been leaking for some time ruining my laminate floor and requiring mold remediation and carpenter work for the ruined baseboards. $6650 worth. You can see in the photos that the rubber hose rubbed holes in itself due to poor design or poor installation. It has been over a year and LG just informed me that they will only reimburse me $5173 due to depreciation since the remodel is 10 years old. So because the LG Washer failed in the first year due to a manufacturing defect I’m stuck with $1500 expense just because my house wasn’t brand new?!? That’s ridiculous. Do NOT buy an LG product unless you are prepared to be shafted by LG when it fails. I should have stuck with Samsung or any other brand with better customer service. I do not recommend LG products to anyone.

This washer smells

I don’t think anyone wants to purchase an expensive large washer that has to have the door open at all times. It’s an inconvenience and it doesn’t look good. Not happy with it

BEWARE - DO NOT BUY!

Let's take a look at ALL the things that are wrong with it, and I have only had it around 6 months. 1 - It gives a drainage error EVERY SINGLE TIME I wash anything. We have always taken very good care of the machine, including cleaning out any filters, etc. We have done everything to rectify this problem of having constant drainage errors. We now have to keep a vacuum next to the washing machine to "clear" the "clog" for a load to even finish. 2 - The screen on the front knob is unreadaable about half the time. (see photo) We have to unplug it to reset the screen. It will stay fixed for a couple of days and then become unreadable again. 3 - The machine WILL NOT DRY in AI mode no matter what we do. The clothes come out warm and soaking wet. The machine will dry on every other cycle, except for any of the AI stuff. So, please save yourself some annoyance and buy absolutely anything on planet Earth except this machine. We have someone "coming out to look at it". However, I don't see how they are going to be able to fix this lemon.

Defective Expensive Washer

Not enough water was added to each load. Left clothes smelling like mildew. This was a brand new washer. Had to return it.

Remote for Wi-Fi will not stay on.

They do not check that they have everything for the install and that the items are not damaged. We have been rescheduled several times due to these issues. 1st pedestal for the washer came crushed. The second one came with no hardware to install it to the washer. Then they kept rescheduling, and rescheduling, and rescheduling again, and again also on the washer itself, the remote will not stay on, even though there is a button to toggle it on to remain on it, continuously cuts itself off and tells you to go to the machine two options and turn it back on which is a hassle, what is the point in having a remote when you can’t use it remotely! I called LG and they cannot even figure out why it will not stay on. There is nothing wrong with my Wifi signal at all or connectivity. Also, does not have an add water feature, which is a drawback for my previous washer. The dispenser drawer where you put the detergent is very flimsy and feels like it’s going to break when you open and close it , everything else seems to be good. Other than that I’m not sure how long this washer will last my last LG washer lasted 14 years but things were being made better back then if they don’t get this pedestal issue figured out everything’s going back.

Leak 20 min after install. No help from best buy.

No help from best buy. Told to call back in 24 to 48hes after system updates. Bad experience bad customer service no solution or help offered. Had to get a plumber to repair install. I could not move the washer by self. No leaks from washer or pipes. Just connections not tight and no Teflon tape.

Do not buy the auto dispensing washer .

Its 100 cheaper without the auto dispensing function. Do not waste your money. My clothes do not smell fresh . I tried to bypass that function and it ruined my entire load by leaving oil deterngent marks on the clothing. The washer itself is gorgeous but like i said it does not use enough detergent or softner and no real way to bypass that feature. I often have to wash mh clothes twice for them to even smell clean . I havw adjuated the auto function to max and it still doesnt clean the clothes.

Waste of Money - do t be fooled.

There is a screen filter that clogs up within months and makes the washer unusable. To fix requires pulling out the washer, disconnecting input hoses, and removing filter to clean every few months. Per technician this is a very common problem with this unit but LG will not accept ownership as manufacturer defect and will do nothing to help. Best Buy only will refer you to LG.

Poor service

Their tech had language problem, left without installation, waited 9 days to get it and then another 7 days until someone else come to install it. I had to contact them at least 10 time, offshore staff they spoke alien language as if talking to a robot. I requested that a manager from the States call me, which never happened.

LEAKS! DO NOT BUY!!

One month after the warranty was over, the washer started leaking from the front bottom left corner. Extremely frustrating. Will never buy an LG appliance again. We have had a Samsung lasted longer than this, and we all know how bad Samsung appliances are. Very sorry that I didn’t move my $500 Whirlpool front load machine with us when we sold our home.

Leaking door seal

It has been leaking for several months. The leak is in the door seal and will cost $700 for repairs. $700 to repair a machine that is 2 1/2 years old. Shame on LG for selling such a poorly made product. I've decided to buy a new machine and it will definitely not be an LG.

Best Buy never delivered the item

crappy product

Never Use Best Buy! Terrible Customer Service!!!

We paid a $900.00 plumber repair bill to correct it all. No word from Corporate.
