I love my new LG washer. I love the features and ease of use. I didn’t give it a 5 because the rubber seal started to disintegrate after using it the new washer. Best Buy is replacing the washer so no worries there. If u r wondering if the washer will fit a California king- it won’t. But I washed a regular king sized comforter without any issues. I would recommend this washer

I absolutely love my new LG washer! This model is packed with features that make doing laundry a breeze. The smart capabilities allow me to start and monitor my loads from my phone, and the efficient cleaning performance leaves my clothes looking and smelling fresh. The drum is large and able to accommodate even my comforters with ease. The sleek design made it easy to integrate into my laundry room. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this washer to anyone in the market for a new one.

So far, so good…have the combo dryer and both look and work beautifully. Still learning how to use all the functions but getting there. I hope they last! PS, does anybody knows how to make the light blue?

I chose the LG WM5800HVA after an agonizing amount of research comparing reliability data, features, looking at build quality, and real-world user experiences. LG consistently had the lowest service rates among major brands (3-4% vs. 9%+ average), and this model offered the capacity and features I needed without the problems of auto-dispensers that can develop mold issues. Pros so far: Cleans well for normal loads; plenty of cycle options TurboWash 360 is genuinely fast (30-minute cycles) Phone app is actually convenient for cycle monitoring, + fun bonus, you can add custom sounds and animations to washer interface 5.0 cu ft handles big loads easily Quiet operation Steam option Cons: Occasionally find debris (hair, leaves) stuck to the front gasket or inside the tub after wash—requires regular wiping Heavily soiled items sometimes need a second wash (typical for HE washers) Before installing the washer, I looked inside from the bottom, nearly every internal component is plastic—they definitely don't make them to last like they used to, unfortunately this seems to be industry-wide now. Bottom line: It's a solid, efficient machine if you're willing to do regular maintenance (wipe the gasket, leave the door open after using it, and the monthly tub clean). Modern appliances are what they are—plastic internals and planned obsolescence—but the failure rates suggest this is one of the better bets available today. Note; I bought an open-box unit so was able to save several hundred off the sale price

Really a great washing machine. Very efficient, nice, and great capacity. Only downside is that it is hard to connect it to wifi. And most of its useful functionalities are available on its mobile app. BestBuy installers didn’t bother themselves to connect it to our wifi. They even didn’t arrange or adjust the position of the machine. They just hooked it up and left us with the mess. And believe me, it is very heavy to move. We pushed it back and forth, side to side. Overall, we are very happy with the our purchase. Just get someone with technical knowledge to contact it to your wifi, and mobile app. And then you can enable functions like spinning only or raising only on the device itself. At the beginning it looks not user-friendly but after connecting it to wifi it is very easy to operate and the app gives you very useful information.

This washer washing fast 35mins a load and quiet, clothes comes out clean no complaint there. Original I bought the 2-in-1 wash and dryer Best Buy unplugged my dryer to install to the 2-in-1 but decided to rerun it snd get just the washer only Best Buy refused to install my dryer back, no even willing to help move the dryer back in its original space which is like 6 ft away. I think it’s not making sense to me,so be aware.

As a straight washing machine it does a good job. It is somewhat easy to use except for the connecting to Wifi feature. After several attempts to do so I still was unable to connect. Then I thought why do I need to connect to the Wifi it's not like I have a robot doing my laundry. All I want is to wash my things.

Very nice looking unit. Very quiet operation and working great so far.

I like it, but its not the best. I think it does a good job of cleaning. It could probably be a little better. Synthetics after a hard work out don't smell as fresh as cotton. And the settings are too picky for me. I like to be able to change them.

Very efficient and quiet. Downloaded the app for more options. Otherwise, customization is limited.

Excellent washing machine! Wonderful features and easy to use.

Seems to wash fine. I did have something strange happen. At the of the first two loads we found a small piece of sandpaper in the drum that hadn’t been there when we put the clothes in. No, they didn’t come from our house. When I called the LG service line, she was as stumped as I was. As we were talking, I found a small screw loose in the bottom of the rubber door gasket. She advised me to call Best Buy to get a replacement. I did call and they are delivering a new washer next week. I had a Siemens washer for 20 years that never gave me any trouble until an irreplaceable part broke. Unfortunately, Siemens doesn’t sell washers here any more, and the Bosch from loaders they sell are too small for my needs. I am really hoping the new LG washer doesn’t have the same weird issues that this one does.

It gets the clothes clean, has a large capacity, and lots of options. I'm still learning how to use the different settings. The clothes come out clean and it's easy to use, once you learn the various options.

It’s okay. I don’t think it washes clothes as well as my top loader did, and it always has a smell. The auto detergent feature is nice and it’s very quiet. Sleek looking, too.

This washer looks amazing, I have been using it for little time, but so far it’s good.

The LG front load washer we recently purchased has been to replace our 23 yr old top load Kenmore washer. I like the fact that you can wash larger loads more efficiently and quietly. There are also a lot of extras you can download and use for your wash cycles. I do worry about the mold problem as the rim of the washer stays very wet. We have been trying to wipe it dry after doing the last load, we will see if this helps in the long run. So far I love this washer but then we have only had it for about 1 month.

pros mostly in the good sound quality & versatility in ease of pairing with several devices: you get what you pay for in those regards. cons, perhaps the design around using a lithium ion powered remote for setting a few things up. panel controls support most functionality, but the remote is easy to lose & the only way to do some things like pairing. if you use it more to provide sound to one device consistently & not care about those functions, may be annoying or weird, but no dealbreaker either.

So far so good! Really nice finish. The machine is so quiet compared to my previous top load. It has an app for notifications which is nice. I gave it only 4 because the app basically for ES you to give up access to you location and Bluetooth devices.
