There is not one thing I don't like about my new set. I especially love the new black stainless.

The product I received was very much what I wanted and my expectations were met by this purchase.

Unfortunately this washer (and matching dryer) does not clean my clothes well. I’ve tried different settings and still not satisfied with the cleanliness of the clothes. If it were t such a hassle I would’ve returned it. We plan to leave it when we move.

Dryer door is able to open right/down or left/down. After 4 service appointments (waiting around for 4 hours each) and having to have the dryer replaced because the service team broke the door, new dryer was delivered with the same issue and i now have to start over!

stopped working but the tub light was on. It would not start - called LG and Best Buy -- it was broken nothing was Dx on the machine. Wanted a new machine -- very disappointed

Washer delivered and installed on Dec 23rd by Best Buy. After installer left, it leaked - over 50 gallons. Damage so far is over $7,000. No payment received as of 1/27/2017.

I have 2 complaints with this unit. 1) we were told in the store and it is stated on line that it's possible to do a side vent for this unit. There's even a place where the metal is designed to pop out so it can be vented on the right. However, the gas line is routed directly through that space, so it's not actually possible. We didn't discover this until after the 15 day return period so it's too late to return it. 2) the automatic sensor dry option doesn't fully dry the laundry and you have to add more time after the cycle is done. My 10 year old dryer worked better, but sadly I have already given it away.

The LG DLGX7601WE is the highest rated dryer by Consumer's Report which is why we purchased it. I remember reading a review online where someone said it didn't dry the clothes well and I thought, well...that can't be true, they must have just gotten a lemon. The thin easy to dry clothes are dry the thicker clothes are damp. In the case of drying socks the dryer kept turning off after 5 minutes because we were told we didn't have enough in the dryer. We found LG after running through tests telling us that it was just fine if we took it off energy savor. That is not the case. The clothes still do not dry on sensor mode. The only sure way to get the clothes dry it to use time dry. We are stuck using only the Timed drying mode which is a bit like going back to our dryer 30 years ago after paying heavily for "up to date" technology. After spending that much money we are surprised at the bad design and lack of support by LG to address the core issue: a sensor design that is ineffective. Put in a load of socks to dry and you will be very disappointed. Consumer's Report got this one wrong to our experience.

My few disappointments - I do not know if it is only this piece or all the new dryers are like this- Moisture sensor does not work. Steam cycle only drips water into the dryer and wets the clothes. All the cycles in the left of selector are supposed to be moisture sensor and steam, but this is false. Cannot select the anti static button. On a lighter note it saves energy - To save energy, dryer is quick to turn off its led drum light which is hardly 4w. If run for whole year it may consume energy of hardly 1 cent. LG is quick to save a cent for us.

Paid $1000 and it broke in 1.5 years. I would not buy this product.
