This dryer is just as good as the washer. Good size and fairly quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend

The dryer works great if you know the correct cycle to use based on the type of material and the amount you're putting into it. We use the timed dry medium heat and our clothes always come out completely dry. If your doing thin items such as sheets or shirts, you can use the default setting which uses less power and cooler cycle.
Works great on jeans and blankets and is the quietest dryer I have owned.

I have purchased several BB open box items from unseen TVs to this LG dryer. I have NEVER been disappointed. (I do review what I purchasing). Regarding the dryer. I purchased it primarily because it was on sale and had an additional reduced sale price due to a "dent". Cosmetic and not visible now that it is in place. Since open box, it didn't come with a manual which I had to obtain online. While relatively simple to use, I did need to go directly to LG to figure out how to use the cycle options. Halfway through my first load, the clothes were spinning without heat. I was certain the dryer was a dud. I found online a few similar "complaints" only to learn that none of us, including myself, understood the energy saver mode, a default setting. Heat only comes on after the first half of the cycle. I thought this was foolish. I researched the energy mode and in fact while it takes a few minutes longer to dry, there is a nice energy savings. I use the energy mode exclusively and find everything does come out dry. I hope this helps someone else. I've only had the dryer several weeks but so far pleased with the purchase.

We got this along with the LG washer. So far it's been very good, but like a few other reviews have mentioned, occasionally items can be a little damp. To avoid this, we select 'very dry' setting and problem solved.
It's easy to use, clothes smell fresh, and the lint filter is really easy to remove and clean. The drum is really big and drying bedding is easy,
We've only had it about a month but so far I would recommend it.

I first bought Whirlpool two in one detachable agitator. I didn't like it's function and it was loud and big. It took the space a lot. So, I switched to LG. The price is much less than Whirlpool and I really like it. No issue yet. I would say it is more quite than Whirlpool and I like thier function more.

This dryer works well. I appreciate that it is simple to operate. I bought a large capacity washer, and the dryer does not want to dry a full load from the washer. Paired with a regular capacity washer it would rate five stars.

Overall dryer works good except for the sensor Dry feature which leaves the clothes too damp. I end up using the manual feature instead of the useless Sensor dry feature. So far haven’t had any any other operating issues other than the initial vent kit installation. The installer had squashed the vent which caused an error message saying venting was being blocked. I had to schedule a second install appointment to get that installed correctly.,

Overall a great dryer, for the price, however, I do not like the regular cycle as it just barely dries the clothes. They still feel damp. If you try to run them through again, as it is mostly the towels or jeans having this issue, then it will stop on you as I imagine a sensor believes it is dry. So instead I use the heavier cycle, which saves 3 minutes and has this happen far less. Quiet machine.

Normal setting did not completely dry a load of bath towels. Had to use heavy duty setting.
When finishes load, it rings a faint musical tone, can’t hear in other parts of house. This would be good for small living space.
Other than that, seems to work fine. Hope to have for many years. Has timer which shows countdown to finish. Handy feature.
