From the silver door trim and knob accents to the glass door that lets you quickly check on clothes, this LG dryer brings an easy style to any laundry space. Drying is easier, too, thanks to the LG Sensor Dry system that measures moisture levels throughout the cycle and automatically adjusts drying time no more damp clothes or overdrying.
Q: Is it a standard 220 plug like this one?
A: There are instructions for installing a 3-prong 240V cord in the manual. I think of four prong is preferred, but it's pretty easy to put the 3-prong on. I believe it's just moving one wire from the body to the middle ground prong.
Q: Can the door be changed to open from left side?
A: Yes, instructions are in owner’s manual.
Q: What is the minimum space requirement for this dryer?
A: Hi, The floor must be level, with a maximum slope of 1 inch (2.5 cm) under the entire dryer. This dryer has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and rear. One upper vent opening with a minimum opening of 48 sq. in. (310 cm2) must be installed no lower than 6 feet above the floor. One lower vent opening with a minimum opening of 24 sq. in. (155 cm2) must be installed no more than one foot above the floor. here's the link for manual and clearances https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-DLE7150W.ABWEEUS. ^Vanessa
Q: Dryer dries everything too hot. Does it not sense the clothes are dry and shut off early?
A: Hi, This model has Damp Dry Signal Indicator on the control panel-The dryer will signal when the load is approximately 80% dry. This allows you to remove faster- drying lightweight items or items that you would like to iron or hang while still slightly damp. Q: Does this dryer have a light inside?
A: bummer that there is no light in this LG dryer. our replaced 14 yr-old Whirlpool Cabrio model had a light and the drum was painted white. my "workaround" for this LG model, as shown in the pics, is to use our handy magnetic flashlight that can be folded in different positions, and it has a hook for hanging on the closed dryer door to see the clothes while drying. using the flashlight after the load is done while retrieving clothes is the most useful and practical. what's the point of watching clothes as they tumble? what, are you afraid some of the socks will mingle with other clothes, or hide against the wall to make a quick break when the door opens :-)
A: No, but im not sure you would want one since the controls are on the top/back. It might be hard to reach them.
Q: What is the unpackaged weight of this dryer (in pounds)?
A: Thank you for your interest in the LG Electric Dryer (DLE7150W) model. The unpackaged weight of the LG DLE7150W dryer is 132 pounds. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-DLE7150W.ABWEEUS. ^Cris
