Frustrating warranty service

This results in twisting the clothing or strings to the point of ruin. We've had a major run-around with LG Warranty service to get this addressed. Overall it has been a bad experience.

Received the wrong color

Clearly stated in the receipt and the picture depicts it in black. I received the gray. We had to pick it up ourselves bc Beat Buy was a month out to deliver. I needed a washer/dryer immediately bc the set I had no longer worked, by the time we picked the set up, unloaded, unwrapped (could not tell the color through the packaging) it would’ve been a hassle and longer wait to get the correct color.

not completely dry & touchpad issue

The problems were the clothes never fully dried and so you have to continually perform a time to dry at the temperature you’d like. Also the touch pad buttons do not really function with a light touch as you have to press really hard to activate the button. I thought this would be an upgrade from Samsung but my prior unit was much better and lasted a long time

Dryer shuts off before drying

At about 9 months the dryer stopped working correctly. The dryer will stop after a few minutes or randomly at different times before clothes are dry regardless of amount of clothes. I’ve tried the online tips to fix myself but having to call for service now. All this in less than year of use. Very frustrating.

Great Product - poor service and follow through

Horrible customer service, even worse chatbot

No there isn't anything in the drum, it is coming from inside the machine like a ball bearing that has gone bad. It has take me over an hour to get to the "live chat" that will send someone to do a repair. Also, day 16 is one day past when you can return it to BEST BUY. They didn't even hook up the steam line during install, but it.

Not as Advertised

It says has Sensor dry function but does not work, had it for a week and returned it. If those functions are important to you look to the GE Dryer, both those functions work.

For the Steam function, it is designed to reduce wrinkles and freshen up clothes by using water, but if the clothes are coming out wetter than expected, it might be due to the steam not properly penetrating the fabric. We recommend ensuring that the fill hose for the steam function is properly connected and that there is enough water in the tank for optimal steam generation.
As for the Sensor Dry function, it uses a moisture sensor to automatically adjust drying time. If the sensor isn't working as expected, it may be a good idea to clean the sensor with a soft cloth to remove any lint buildup. This will help ensure accurate readings for optimal drying.

Not impress and bad customer service

The dryer came with the light not working and geek squad wouldn’t do anything about it. On top of that, the dryer leaves almost every load (no matter how small) still damp. I’ve tried a ton of different settings to fix this and nothing has worked. My only option to get the light fixed is to now put in a service call with LG. Talk about making me have to work for it. Buyer beware.

The most recent makes a spring squeaking noise with each rotation of the drum. None of them dried our clothes on the first cycle. Always have to run it twice. The most recent one must overheat, as it has caused some MAJOR clothing shrinkage on the same "medium" heat of the others. I didn't know pajama pants could get that short.
