Don't waste money on this machine. Too smart for it's own good, keeps turning off and the clothes aren't even dry. Just get a basic Kenmore.

Clothes smell so clean; uses less water and less detergent

The Dryer is not up par with the matching washer. Longer drying needed for bigger loads. Can not change some of the preset options for temp/drying level.

This does its job quietly and reliably. Most of the times it finishes drying in 30-45 minutes on a full load, some times in as little as 20 minutes. The sensor does a good job of monitoring the dryness. Controls are simple to understand.

So far matches or exceeds our previous dryer. Quiet. Efficient. Chimes are cute. Only wish it had steam, the TrueSteam model is only $60 more right now. Have not yet explored the "freshen up" or "anti bacterial" cycles but look forward to it. Am very happy with our LG product.

Still working well after these years. A little confusing with regards to utilizing all the different functions available so I just stick to the basics

I purchased this dryer on the recommendation of Consumer Report. Dryer is quiet and does a great job.

Bought in 2018. In 2021 needs heater element as quit drying clothes.

I had a Neptune front load washer/dryer combination and this is larger capacity than the Neptune. The washer works very well. The dryer has some real problems. My laundry comes out in a combination of big balls and long ropes. This makes getting the job done a lengthy procedure. So far I've followed all the advice I can get, folding the sheets before putting them in the dryer, putting sheets on top, using shoes, etc. etc. The Neptune dryer worked perfectly at drying. The Best Buy sales force haven't got a clue and act as though I'm the first person to mention this problem. YouTube has many complainants attempting to solve this issue. Is there no solution LG? I cannot figure out what is wrong with the LG dryer, but unless I find a solution I'm returning it.

Had a LG electric dryer before but the washer went out and had to get a new dryer too to be stackable , or so I was told . Bought this dryer with the matching washer based on the great reviews. First dryer would not dry completely so I had it returned. Second dryer came dented . The third dryer STILL has the same problem . Clothes won't dry unless you put it on MORE DRY. Thought it was just the way it was and lived with it for almost a year. Then I got tired of it and did the trouble shooting which came up D80 . This meant my vent was clogged. Took the four foot section off and no clogs. Called LG and they tried to tell me it was my vent till I finally put my foot down and said send a tech. Tech came out today and it is definitely in the machine but he is not sure where. He is coming back. Starting reading online and evidently this a common problem with LG and requires constant reset of some sensor. We will see. Funny thing I bought LG again also in part to my old one being so great and trouble free. So frustrated and disappointed . This Dryer wasnt cheap .

This dryer is fantastic with one exception. Sometimes it turns off before clothes are all the way dry. There may be settings to change this but I haven't gotten there yet. Overall, very happy with the unit.

This is a nice dryer with large capacity. The dry sensor turns off the dryer automatically. This saves energy and $ on your electric bill. I would recommend this dryer to others.

I’m not one to usually review products, but I’ll make an exception for this. I purchased this dryer less than three years ago and it has stopped working twice. The first time it quit working was less than a year after purchase. I had the dryer repaired and then less than two years later it stopped working again. Both times it was the exact same part that went bad. Apparently it must be a common problem with these dryers because LG can’t make the part fast enough. I now have the choice of waiting around 2 months to receive the part or going and buying a new dryer. I’ve always been a fan of LG, but I will never buy another dryer from them.

Very spacious, adaptable and easy to use. I would recommend it.
