To address the heating issue with your unit, please try the following troubleshooting step: Check the Circuit Breaker: Electric dryers require two fuses or a double-pole circuit breaker. If one side trips, the dryer may run but won't heat. Find the dryer's breaker in your panel, switch it OFF, then back ON to ensure both poles are engaged. First one lasted 10 years and then lots of noise. Trying to find someone to fix it and have parts was an issue, so bought this one. Nice, but made more cheaply than the first LG dryer. No light inside this one. Prefer the first one over this one, but they do not make the first model any longer. So far so good with drying clothes. Prefer LG over other brands
