We had a problem with the installation because we are stacking the set and the electric cord comes from the top of the dryer. It is a 6 foot cord, and since the dryer is on top, the cord is too short to plug in. We had to replace the 6 foot cord with a 10 foot cord. Why the electric cord comes from the top of the dryer is mystifying.

One helpful step you can try is checking the exhaust vent for any kinks or partial blockages, as restricted airflow can cause normal cycles to stop early while heavier cycles continue running long enough to dry the load. I had to wait over a month to receive washer/dryer. The day it was finally delivered after visiting the store to work out issues on price matching and delivery dates as I couldn't seem to get it done over the phone, the delivery man refused to install the new dryer. He did not clearly explain why and he left me thinking I had a big vent issue. As it turned out, all that was needed was to be cleaned - everything is up to code. He almost caused me to spend hundreds of dollars to have a new vent hole drilled to the outside of my house. He was rude and had poor knowledge/communication. He kept speaking in Spanish to the other guy so I had no idea why they wouldn't install. I also asked him to at least move the old appliances into the garage and bring the new ones inside the house - he refused. He had me sign two documents and never left me with copies - I still don't have the copies and don't know what I signed.
